Top 10 Jin Yong Weapons

We know that Gu Long had his list of top weapons, but how should the weapons in the Jin Yong novels be ranked. Here is my list and reasons for their ranking:

10: Miao Renfeng’s (MRF) sword. Able to withstand blows from Hu Yidao’s sabre and the ‘Cold Moon Sabre’ despite the inherit weakness of the Jin when clashing with Dao.
9: Cold Moon Sabre (CMS). Ranked it slightly above MRF’s weapon as it was shown to slice through other weapons, the only weapon in the ‘flying fox’ novels to do so.
8. Zhang Zhaozhong’s sword. Not sure if this weapon was in the original novel, but in the TVB version of ‘Book and Sword’, it could cut through weapons like CMS and was as feared as its wielder.
7. Golden Snake Sword. One of Jin Yong’s most iconic weapons and the most feared weapon of its novel.
6. Holy Flame Tablets. Only weapons in HSDS able to resist the titular weapons.
5. Dog Beating Staff. Framed weapon of the Beggar’s Guild.
4. Huang Yaoshi’s flute. Ranked higher than DBS due to versatility. DBS can only be used as a hand weapon, but the flute can be used for long range and mass attack.
3. Ouyang Feng’s staff. Able to kill with a scratch.
2. Heavy Iron Sword. We all knew this had to be on the list.
1. A Qing’s staff. Bit of a cheat, but represents the ultimate ideal of ‘Sword without a Sword’.

Noticeable exceptions:

Heaven Sword & Dragon Sabre: Not included as could not exist if HIS is.
Wei Xiaobao's dagger: Just don't know enough about it.
Gentleman & Lady Swords: No particularly impressive features.


Are there any other weapons that should be included? Your thoughts please.

I wouldn't single out the Heavy Iron Sword...and then ignore Dook Goo Kau Bai's other three swords and the two weapons derived from the Heavy Iron Sword (namely, the Heaven Sword and the Dragon Sabre). I think that these six weapons should be grouped together as the DGKB Arsenal.

yeah, that second sword of dugu qiubai, called purple rose sword that appear in first edition of novel (cut yang guo's arm) is worth to mention too as group of DGKB Arsenal

and in yue maiden , a legendary blacksmith made about 10 legendary swords for 3 kingdoms.
