Default Permanently disable forced (automatic) updates in Windows 10 (any edition)

This is the best method that I've come across to permanently disable updates in Windows 10. It doesn't involve downloading some kind of software that could infect your PC with a virus.

Beware that the Windows Store will no longer work afterwards (I don't really use the Microsoft Store; as my device boots Windows 10 + Android, and there are better apps available on Android...)

Step 0: Go here and copy everything within the code section into NotePad. Save the file as "disableUpdates.BAT" (file extension must be .BAT NOT .BAT.TXT)

Step 1: Go to Control Panel and uninstall everything that has to do with Microsoft/Windows Updates. Also click on "View installed updates" on the left panel and uninstall everything there that has to do with Windows Updates as well. Essentially, there are two screens that Microsoft/Windows Updates could hide in: (Uninstall a program) and (View installed updates). Everything related to Windows Updates in both screens must be removed.

Step 2: Right click on the file in Step 0 and run as Administrator.

Step 3: Reboot and repeat Step 2 just to make sure.
