Re-visiting the departure of xz in the 2003 series. At least GHPP willing to sarcifice herself for her daughter. But hated that zwj did not make/suggest any final attempt to "save" xz. Hmm, xz is 20 years old in this 2003 series.

Somehow, I like the zm's Wudang visit. Minus her hairdo, I like

2. how zd suggest that zm and zwj get married
3. how zm twist the conversation to the green willow incident and the surprised expressions by all which p_o has nicely posted once.

The saddest scene is still xz's departure. On the other hand, it is nicely done in this series.

Overall, like many others, I do not regret watching this adaptation.

Hi a_t: The series deviate from the novel a lot. So if you are the novel supporter, you will be disappointed. Let me say a few areas for improvement:
1. Don't make zm cry so much. No need for her wanting to be a nun.
2. Make zzr to be more ambitious, ie, to glorify emei.
3. Explain how yin-li rise from the grave and come back to mainland.
4. Don't make jhpp so selfish so as sacrifice xz's happiness for the rest. Let xz make the decision herself.
5. Have a final rescue attempt for xz. zm - show your intelligence.
6. Make zwj and zm visit persia. Afterall this is what zm suggested after the departure of xz.

The series is at times fun because of the supporting actors/actresses like yx, zd and dmj.

My apologies in advance, regarding the fanfics, may I suggest the fanfic writers use the proper thread? Another HSDS forum has been practically hijacked by ZWJ-ZM shippers that it doesn't look like an HSDS forum anymore, but a spin-off series focusing on ZWJ-ZM. No offense to ZWJ-ZM fans, but HSDS is far more than a mere romance ))
