Her father is Chaghan Temur, whose ancentors were from Central Asia. He used to fight in many major fights, one of which he defeated Han Lin'er at Bian Liang in 1359. Was assassinated by generals who surrended to him earlier in 1362. After that the military ruling was passed to Koko Temur (Wang Baobao).

WBB is actually a nephew, son of Chaghan's sister, who became his stepson later on. He was a military genius, participated in a lot of battles, and was even more famous than his father. Even Chu Yuanzhang said that one of his three biggest regrets in life is not able to capture WBB. He died in 1375 in Mongolia, long after the Yuan was defeated.

WBB in real life has a younger sister. When the sister was young, she used to live either in Henan or with grandpa in Bian Liang. I think this detail is what Jin Yong used when he let ZM sign off the poem at Lu Manor as "Bian Liang Zhao Min". Anyway, according to history, this sister was married off to ZYZ's second son. When her husband died, she killed himself after him. Well well...

That's led me to think again. Had she not met ZWJ and decided to run after him (-.-'), her fate might be even worse. Definitely no happy ending for someone born into the royal family at the end of Yuan dynasty.

I kinda don't really like HR as a character. Too mischievous, a little selfish. I think what differentiates ZM from HR is that HR doesn't seem to have any meaningful ambitions until she meets GJ; and she seems more capable of quick-on-the-feet thinking, not strategic thinking.

Haha by now you could tell that ZM is my favourite character.

I doubt they'll recast her in another jinyong series since they probably want a young petite athlete and it'll be another few years discounting movies for loch.

I see. Tang Yan made a good decision in getting Yukee this role, then.

I guess the authority would have made known the latest ban to the film industry before they made the official announcement. Maybe that's why local TV are relunctant to get too involved in guzhuang genre. Even now, as far as I know, publicity for any wuxia movies is severely restricted.

I am hoping that the production kept a ton of BTS clips, just that they are not releasing them at the moment. Too much hype for HSDS is not a good thing in this sensitive period. BTS clips always make my day
