Actually, the plot can be easily changed to another rule whereby once the Ming Sect leader marry the Holy Maiden, he can change the need for a Holy Maiden. Good idea?

i dont know man...
many people dont like new storyline or deviated from novel

just look at SPW 2013, SPW 2018 , ROCH 2014

all of these got negative reviews

Well 2013 smiling proud wanderer wouldve been good if they didnt let dong fang bu bai take all of ren yin yin scenes, made her as main lead useless, basically linghu chong was just with her bc of the original story, she didnt help him etc.

2018 version fight scenes are jusy bad, main guy shouldn't been main lead, i dont mind changes but at least put effort into fight scenes and casting.

Rotch 2014 was pretty good just way they insert flashbacks ruined pacing of original story and last minute replacement of xln. Michelle cute but there was other actress in series that could've been main lead. They shouldve used actress in beginning that hair turns white wang chong yangs lover forgot her name.

If this version make since changes like making wuji not as gullible or wish washy etc i wont mind just justify his actions instead of random throw plot or love interests around etc.

I quite enjoyed most of SPT 13 but yeah I agree with Mido, they gave away too many scenes. Also thought the ending sucked but that's consistent with a lot of the reworked shows.

SPT 18 they were pretty much working on a tiny budget in all departments including the cast so I feel like I should be less critical but a lot of the story elements they changed for the ending sucked.

Don't even remember ROCH 14 tbh.

For this series, I kinda hope they make ZZR more of a sympathisable antagonist because let's face it she got screwed over by miejue, make zwj lets of a pleb in general and make ZM more cunning. I feel like they need to explore ZM's mongolian heritage and make it more of a struggle for her to ditch it for ZWJ.
