She played a princess in princess wei young.
Hopefully, this zm can fight as elegantly as the latest HR.

Kathy Chow and Zhu Xudan make two generations of Zhou Zhiruo

One of the anticipated things from the latest remake of Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber 新版倚天屠龙记 is the return of Kathy Chow's who's role as Zhou Zhiruo in the 1994 Taiwanese drama adaptation continues to be a classic. She will be playing Miejue Shitai while Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms star Bambi Zhu Xudan will be playing her prized protege as Zhou Zhiruo.

At the age of 51, Kathy Chow is still a stunning beauty and while I find it fitting that she will be playing the role of the teacher, she seems too beautiful for the traditionally hateful character of Miejue. Fans seem to have already started predicting that she may end up outshining her co-stars.

Zhu Xudan does have big shoes to fill standing next to the woman who gave one of the most iconic portrayals of Zhou Zhiruo. We only have pictures to go by but she seems to be living up to the challenge.

When 1986 HSDS was shown, I knew of people who watch the series because of the actor and actress playing Zhang Cuishan and Yin Susu.
Wondering whether it will be the same as 2018 - people watch because of Kathy Chow.
OT: The last picture - side-view of ZZR - does look a bit like HR.
I wonder whether GX ever meet Miejue. Also, how Miejue join Er-mei?
i dont remember any clue about that
Miejue is 40+years old when at butterfly valley (lets say 45) , so she was about 30 years compare to zhang sanfeng who was 90 years early HSDS, GX was older 5-6 years than ZSF .
the problem is we dont know how old was GX when she died.
not much background story involved miejue.
i think they should try to find the sabre, but dont know where to find it , the Sabre is MIA for some times
Haha you reminded me that when I did a search for Chinese fanfiction for HSDS a few years ago, the most popular pairing in all of HSDS is actually ZM/ZZR! I guess ZWJ doesn't get a lot of fanfic love.
Thanks for sharing the picture- yes, I'm guessing that this is the scene when ZM meets ZWJ for the 2nd time (invites him and the Ming Sect folks to the Mansion where she poisons them.)
Very few people, including me, like zwj.
I dislike the book ZWJ, but the drama ZWj's have always been debonair enough for me to like (particularly the charismatic Tony Leung- he could make a mute-blind-deaf character endearing- followed by a very quiet portrayal by Lawrence Ng and a high-on-chemistry one from Alec Su!)
Wait, wkeej, do you mean you're one of the few people who like ZWJ or one of the many who do not?
Dislike zwj.
Just for laughs: There is an internal skill called Yang Wuji in the game Sword of Shadows (free-to-play Android game). Basically, what it does is grant the player a small chance to deal all critical hits...
I could write essays about Tony Leung's ZWJ, but it boils down to personal charisma and chemistry with his co-actors (whether his god-father, or his uncles, or his ZM).
Here's a review I wrote about the 1986 Yitian back in 2008- I guess, estimating that I first watched that version of Yitian around 1989, it's now been nearly 30 years, and I still love it! (I even still watch clips of it, particularly of the romance theme song, now and again and relive the sheer euphoria of the first time I watched it.)
