Recommend Me Something! I love Nirvana in Fire!

Hey guys, I just watch Nirvana in Fire and I can certifiably say this is my favourite TV show of all time, beating any previous movie or TV show I've ever seen, and in the near future as well.

I also watched the Disguiser but didn't like it as much, and I'm watching Game of Hunting now and while its definitely not as good, its decent.

Any recommendations? Apart from Nirvana in Fire 2 that is.

Nirvana in Fire = popular + good ratings.

Besides NiF2, the only other upcoming dramas that fit these two criteria are:

1. The King's Avatar. The anime version is already out. It's red hot with good ratings on Douban. So maybe the live action (to be released in 2018) will follow suit.

2. Novoland: Eagle Flag. NiF was all about high production value... Well, how about the most expensive TV drama China will have ever produced up to now (=N:EF)?


Actually, these are the only two dramas I look forward to + RoCH 3D movie(s) by Hark Tsui! Of course, these are future dramas. As to current dramas, I can't really recommend anything beside NiF2...

Fighting action is good in Nirvana In Fire, but storywise and characters I definitely still love Jin Yong based MOST, period.

I did NOT like many characters in NIF, nor some of the actors(actresses) casted, for me I knew none of who any of them were before and was not blown away by their acting either.

nirvana in fire is wuxia with sub genre palace / kingdom / politic / period

just find something with similar sub-genre, like The Advisors Alliance
