Default Could an aged Hui Juk have met a young Hung 7?

Based on Jin Yong's canon chronology, is it plausible that an aged Hui Juk could have met and instructed a teenaged Hung 7 (the future North Beggar Hung 7 Gung) in Dog Beating Stick Technique and Hong Lung 18 Palms? Or were the eras of DGSD and LOCH too far-removed from each other that even a very old Hui Juk could not have plausibly encountered even a very young Hung 7?

Well based on "actual" history Wanyan Aguda a Qiao Feng's sworn brother and founder of Jin Dinasty lives around 1068 AD - 1123 AD and 1st Huashan Duel supposed at 1200 AD since Xiao Feng age difference between him and Wanyan not far and Xiao Feng 7-8 than Xuzhu there's very very possible the young Hong Qigong ever meet the oldie Xuzhu and Duan Yu..

Interesting. Technically very possible. XZ has lots of internal energy and being a former monk, probably less stressful.
Not too sure with DY. With the latest novel, he already had three wives - lots of bickering. Moreover, being the King of Dali, we can presume his life is expected to be more stressful than XZ.

Actually surprised to learn that XZ also know 18 Dragon Palms. Learnt some new things today.

As Jinyong tends to place loose and fast with historical timelines, it is not possible to give an accurate time for the events of DGSD and LOCH - depending on what historical markers you use, you might get different results.

If we use the death of Empress Dowager Gao at the penultimate chapter of DGSD as a yardstick, then DGSD ends at about 1093 AD. At the beginning of LOCH, it was explicitly stated to be the fifth year of Emperor Ningzong, which would place the beginning of LOCH at 1199 AD - a span of 106 years.

Xuzhu was 24 years old at the beginning of his story, so he would probably be around 25-26 years old at the end of DGSD? If we say that he lives to the age of 100, then the cut-off point is 1168. As far as I recall, H7G's age was never explicitly stated - only that he was 'middle-aged', plus HR thought he looked a bit younger than Qiu Chuji. QCJ historically was born in 1148, so assuming HR was correct, then a meeting between a very old XZ and very young H7G is physically possible. However, it is not likely - would the beggar cult really wait for over half-a-century before sending someone to learn from XZ?
