Not sure whether DY will ditch WYY in this adaptation. In the previous adaptation, DY did not ditch her. It's because WYY wants to stay/help her "mentally-ill" cousin MRF.
As to whether the girl DY loved the most is MWQ, in the previous adaptation, it is a bit misleading. In front of XZ, DY did said so. But in front of Xixia Princess, he changed to WYY. Poor MWQ - she possibly heard it since she was there.
So the question is whether DY marry MWQ and HL in terms of love or promise/obligation?

Any idea what the novel say?

The problem I had with RoCH '06 and DGSD '13 was the flying kung fu. Let me explain:

    1. In RoCH '06 2nd half, YG suddenly could jump out of a deep cave like he was Superman or Sun Wukong. One leap and he's heading into Earth's orbit. Was so unrealistic I didn't like that version coz of it!

    2. In DGSD '13 first few episodes same thing. One of the Three Evils could suddenly fly among the tall cliffs like he was swimming in water. Same thing did not like this adaptation coz of the cheeesiness.

Plz, no more terrible jumping/flying sequence in this adaptation. Make ppl can jump high but realistic like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon not fly like Superman or like the air is water and Super Mario gliding thru it. You know what I mean go watch DGSD '13 when DY runs away and encounters a Three Evil...

The problem of present era of chinese martial arts drama lies several factors.

    1) Unwilling to hire a proper action choreographer that has martial arts trained.

    2) Younger generation actors/actresses demand higher wage yet not willing to take crude hardship like their seniors.

    3) Younger generation actors/actresses demand more welfare while shooting. All these needs money.

Example: actor Tang GuoQiang who acted Zhuge Liang. On set, we slept in a cheapskate wooden hut yet need to experience crude winter.

    4) Higher/stricter Censorship in China compare to Hongkong and Taiwan. This limits creativity too.

    5) Backstage crew like scriptwriters, voice actors, choreographers and etc dont receive enough recognition like actors/actresses. This dont make the job attarctive for people to venture too.

    6) Keep spending money for good locations, not using the funds for training better actors/actresses.

Example: In 60-90s TVB days, they dont have good locations, fake props, stiff animal mascot like the giant condor, poor lighting. But they did the wisest move acting quality, and backstage crew quality are more important than the rest.

So what if have good scenery, good props, beautifully carved weapons but bad acting, bad script, bad music, bad choreography...
