Default Best Jinyong drama/cast to tribute Jinyong

I remember in Hongkong John Woo and Wu ma made a gangstet movie to pay tribute to their mentor Chang cheh. Sammo Hung made a movie to tribute the 7 forunes (七小幅) and movie the bodyguard to tribute his era of actors.

Which drama and cast (must be all actors/actresses acted before in his drama or movie) to cast as supporting/lead/ or even cameo roles.

I think Duke of Mount deer is the best.

And the latest zhang yishan version weixiaobao, kangxi and 7 wives are fixed. But all supporting roles arent yet.

Imagine its leveled up to a tribute drama for jinyong. Big shots can come as backstage roles. Whos your ideal script writer, martial choreographer and film director.

And the perfect cast. Note: can use same actor and no longer acted same role. Need to suit his current age and health too.
Example: Elvis Tsui is famous to act Ao Bai. But i think he can return to act a humorous version of Mao ShiBa. He's tall and big sized enough for the role. He got experience in acting comedy too.

Ex lead Chen XiaoChun (98 wei xiaobao) can return as Suoertu. A perfect role for him too.

    Heres some of my list

i didnt include them maybe based on current situation that they dont act any drama anymore.

If based on their current age and situation. What to you think suit for both of them?

    Personally, i think...
    Andy act Shunzhi
    Tony Leung act Chen Jinnan

Bryan Leung was often acting in Jin Yong's drama , so i think we should mention his name

as Ao Bai or Gui Xingshu

I think it might be better the other way round. Tony would be better as the lascivious Shunzhi & Andy the more upright Chen.

If you read the first post.

Bryan Leung will be ideal to act the comedic shaolin Monk Chengguan. Where Wei XiaoBao kept asking him for martial arts moves to counter Ah Ke. And Chengguan is such a comedic yet naive, innocent thinking, simple thinking Shaolin Monk.

    Good idea too.

The earlier idea was because of commerical value. Andy acted Kangxi. It will be amazing he return as ShunZhi.

Heres some supporting actors/actress acted in previous Lu Dingji version but due to their older age or current characteristics..they can take on another role.

Elvis Tsui - Well known for Ao Bai role. Can try Mao ShiBa.
Zhang ChunZhong - Dicky Cheung LDJ's Feng XiFan. Can return as Gui Xingshu.
Bryan Leung - Dicky Cheung LDJ's Hu DeDi can return as the old comedic monk Cheng Guan.
Ng Man Tat - Well known for Hai Dafu. He's old now. He can try the old and yet comedic, corrupted Prince Kang. Kangxi's wimpy uncle.
Lau Kong - Tony Leung's Shunzhi and Jordan Chan's Prince Kang. His old age now can try Monk Yulin; Shunzhi's master.

Lead role return (based on their current age and health)

Jordan Chan - The comedic, corrupted Suoertu
Ma JunWei - Jordan Chan's Kangxi can return as ShunZi or Zhai JiZuo (cameo role as Jinyong's ancestor)
    Tony Leung - Chen JinNan
Andy Lau - Shun Zhi or Hu Yizhu (Handsome king of saber)
Dicky Cheung - MingZhu (historical Suoertu arch enemy)
** Imagine Jordan and Dicky act Suoertu and Mingzhu in comedic political fight with Wei xiaobao.
Huang Xiaoming - Duolong or Yang Yizhi
Han Dong - Duolong or Shi Lang (the bootlicker king)
Rain Lau - Jordan Chan's Jianning can return as Wei ChunHua, XiaoBao comedic mum
Hazel Chan - Jordan Chan's Shuang er (she got a bit of martial arts background and versatile actress) She can try Jiunan or Third madam (Shuang er's master)

Foreigner or mixed blood in roles

Anthony wong - His mixed blood, he can act Pastor Tang RuoWang. Made cannons for Kangxi
Ma Te li - Russian born host in Taiwan. Fluent in Mandarin, frequent in Zhang Fei's show. She could act Russian princess Sophia.

Thanks, d_b. Do not know many of them. It will be nice if there is a picture for each actor/actress. Alternatively, a link to the picture.

I think Yang Yang the female director not to be confused with the male famous actor Yang Yang.....

I think she would make an awesome Drama TV series tribute to Jin qian bei of his great novels like Xiao Ao Jiang Hu, The Condor Heroes series, Tian Long Ba Bu, and ummmm..... so on.....

Lau Dan the actor that played as Hong Qi Gong in Guo Jing Condor Heroes 83, Yang Guo Condor Heroes 84, Guo Jing Condor Heroes 95, Yang Guo Condor Heroes 96 and ummmm.....

I think if there is a new remake of Yi Tian Tu Long Ji, then I think it would be awesome for him to play the role of Zhang San Feng..... Ummmm wasn't he also a playing as someone in Yi Tian Tu Long Ji? I'm not sure which year version that was and which character he played as?

Do you guys think if Ken were to make his new forum page that there should be some kind of poster in the front page to show tribute to these great WuXia novelists?

Ummm poster like the one from the top of my WuXia Mist forum page at WuXiaMist dot boards dot net.....
With some nice WuXia looking stuff and some little description that say dedicated to..... ect ect.....
