Could the Yeun Ming Elders (HSDS) have cured Eunuch Hoi's (DOMD) condition?

In DOMD, Eunuch Hoi suffered from some strange illness in which his body would overheat so severely that whenever he suffered an acute attack of this illness, he needed to immediately be immersed in cold water to avoid death by overheating. Even immersed in cold water, he was in extreme agony during these attacks, and in at least the 1984 DOMD adaptation, his body generated enough excess heat that steam rose from the water in which he was immersed.

That being the case, if the Yeun Ming Elders from HSDS were to attack Eunuch Hoi using their Yeun Ming Divine Palms, whose effects we saw on the young Cheung Mo Gei (causing intense internal cold that was nearly lethal to CMG and could only be cured by 9 Yeung Jen Ging inner power), would their signature killing technique, ironically, cure Eunuch Hoi of his illness?

Unless he was also bitten twice by the Ice Silkworm from DGSD while Zuo Lengchan hits him with his Ice Forming Chi. In which case the 2 extremes would fuse and he gets inner power at above Greats level.
