did the story where Xiao Feng and Xiao Yuanshan exchange palms when XF was pursuing XYS , really exist? i remember that scene in 2003 or 2013 DGSD tv series, but the translation novel in this forum, they never exchange palms, xiao feng stop chasing after XYS said some words. dont know if it because Jin Yong revise the scene or just a TV producer modif the scene?

Xiao Feng's palm force is vigorous and forceful, although Murong Bo manage to brush it away but he was unable to neutralize it, he merely diverted the attack elsewhere and it hit a bookshelf.

Murong Bo smile faintly and said: "Southern Murong, Northern Qiao Feng! Your reputation is indeed well-deserved! Brother Xiao, i have something to say, will you listen or not?"

Watched the youtube. Did watch the series. Strangely, I always thought that XF is a better fighter than MRB.

err, it was XYS that was in the Duan Zhengchun and Kang Min scene. MRB had not appeared in the story in person at that point.

Besides the scene with the bookshelf, MRB and XF had 2 encounters:

When MRB first appeared, just by preparing to face XF, the 2 of them could feel their internal energy clash (book did not say how far apart they were) and appeared well matched.

After the above scene, when MRB tried to run away, XF threw a long distance palm which MRB blocked and was shocked how strong XF was and muttered to himself "how did this dog bastard get so strong".

OK if you are asking about XF vs XYS. They did fight but it was more a technical contest without all out palms(XF was badly injured at that point and XYS was trying to slap him but could not). Both kinda admitted they were even but XF was younger so in a long long fight he might win but only because of his younger vigor.

so that's mean the XF vs XYS exchange palms like the 2003/2013 drama was just a thing made up by producer , in the novel ed 2 and ed 3 , there are no such thing

Yes, it's XF's dad. Thanks to CC for pointing this out. Either way, XF wouldl have won.
