Online is more relaxed.

Recently they had this limit on TV broadcast no exceeding 40 episodes , it's said to only affect new drama but Love and Destiny 宸汐缘 production team are trying to cut the 60 episodes into 40 for TV broadcast , otherwise they may not get the mass exposure to the offline audience.

Not sure about the source and credibility of the DEC 6 date ... but LingJian Mountain VIP members ends on DEC 5 Thursday ... it's entirely possible for this drama to continue on Friday on IQIYI platform , and they usually burst 6 to 8 episodes on the first day.
