Why is YD not better than all the other greats?

It could be because for YD to guarantee a win against another Great he must use both YYZ & PHS together, otherwise he is only equal to the others. We know that if he did this it drains him of his energy for entire years, so he would only do so as a last resort.

that doesnt make sense because WCY used both on OYF and it didnt drain all his energy for years, granted he died after but was of old age.

But we know that it has this effect on YD because he had use both skills simultaneously to save Huang Rong and he lost most of his power afterwards.
