Default Which Jin Yong heroes do you think could master Lee Chum Foon's flying dagger?

Among the Jin Yong heroes, whom do you think has the combination of talent and character necessary to master Lee Chum Foon's famous flying dagger technique?

Yideng with Yiyang Finger. The concept is the same - one uses finger, the other small knives.

Why Yideng is not righteous? Do you need "righteous" to learn the skill?

Yes. Gu Long emphasized again and again that Lee Chum Foon's flying dagger technique would not work if the wielder did not have righteous intent in his heart.

He did not save Ying-Gu's baby. But, in the end, he did save HR without hesitation. Righteous enough?

DFBB - he/she could power up & throw a needle. So throwing a dagger shouldn't be no problem.

    Agreed.
But does DFBB has righteousness in his heart? The point mentioned by Ken.

Something tells me that it requires the talent and "intelligence" required from characters such as LHC

Perhaps someone like ZWJ-- who is righteous, has high intelligence, and is conflicted (much like Dagger Li, especially when it comes to women =P)

OT: Actually, what's the point of learning Xiao Li Flying Dagger? Can't remember clearly - It is only useful for one enemy? Will Xiao Li be able to handle 10 enemies at one go?

But zwj tends to be emotional and jump to conclusion quickly - like the "deaths" of Yin li and ZM.

Because out of those 10 enemies which one would volunteer to take a guaranteed death hit.

Dagger Li is also very emotional in every sense
And in a different way, he comes to conclusions quickly-- sometimes also incorrectly. Albeit I think Dagger Li does analyze and then tries to solve may of the mysteries that he encounters.

OT: On this note, can we assume that Dagger Li will be No 1 in wulin when it is one-to-one fight?

Ye Kai had a different personality from Li and he still managed it. So honestly speaking, it seems that any talented martial artist with a good enough heart should be able to learn it.

Shangguan Jinhong defeated him by beating him before he could throw, so no I would say he is not no 1.

Well, that depends on how we argue the technicality. SGJH theoretically beat him but did not in actuality.
