Rewatching HSDS during this quarantine and... Zhang CuiShan and Yin Susu is basically GJ and HR in terms of personality. Just noticed this lol

I think LuNaR means their morality rather than personality.Both ZCS and GJ have an almost blind adherence to conventional norms and morality, while their respective wives defer convention until they get married.

I always thought Cheung Mo Gei, Chiu Mun, and Chow Chi Yerk were a kind of thematic inverse or "make up" for what happened with Gwok Jing, Wong Yung, and Princess Hua Jeng some 150 years earlier. In LOCH, Gwok Jing abandoned his betrothed Mongolian princess to be with the daughter of East Heretic Wong Yerk See; in HSDS, Cheung Mo Gei abandoned the Ngor Mei Sect Leader (whose sect was founded by the so-called "Little East Heretic," Gwok Seung) to be with a Mongolian princess. Things had come full circle in the CONDOR HEROES TRILOGY.
