I think Li Yu Mei and her martial sister belongs to Dragon Clan. And you forgot Dr. Ma and his wife.

Also, SC -- I don't believe Man Mun Tung or Ko Jun Fung are actually affiliated with the Dragon Mt. Clan. They're Tian Bo's -- aka Lung Juan Fung -- friends and sworn brothers that met AFTER he left Dragon Mt. Clan. Later on, I will work on the background and expansion of how these three brothers met and their relationship to one another.

Goofy's right -- Li Yu Mei and Siu Lung Yee are part of the Dragon Mt. Clan though.

And I think there is a hint of Ah Lan and Ah Yee belong to 'Flower Palace'? Would anyone care to expand from that trail as well?

Jin Lun Sect
Xiao Lung Er into Siu Long Yee as Kara stated in her post, since it seems everything in Cantonese.

Cool Legend of Kilin (continued)

It would be great to take down the posts that have been archived so that there are less pages to skimmed through.

I often ran into problems of looking for right names and such of characters.

SC, how about updating the character list?

Also, can someone change Sword Lake Clan to Sword Lake Sect, thanks to WhiteKrane's sharp eyes.

An FYI for this fanfic's writers; as of now, I am unable to do any more editing for a while so if anyone has time to do it, please feel free to let SC know about it. I have finished editing about 17 pages so far. Only the last 3-4 new additions of Kara and my latest post are not yet edited.

SC, I did email you about this but not sure if you have got it. Anyhow, I have fun reading and editing this great fanfic. Each writer is talented and has a unique style.

since I seems to make lots of mistakes here, I am reposting this. Can the administrator delete the original post in the old LOK tread? Thank you.

Lau Hong was fleeing for his life. The unknown enemy was right behind him, and he did not know where to turn. Adding to that, his daily attack seized upon him. He gritted his teeth and staggered about, sweat broke out and he collapsed, writhing on the ground from pain.

Lau Hong rolled about on the ground when suddenly he fell into a deep pit. It was an old hole hunters dug to trap big animals. For a while, he laid on the dry ground, too exhausted to move, waiting for the attack to pass.

Later he heard footsteps thundering above him. Voices were calling to one another, requiring about their search for escapers. After a moment, noises died down. His pursuers had given up and gone back to their beseiged Cheung Manor.

Lau Hong still didn't dare to move lest his noise alerted some enemy guards that might be lurking nearby. Hot tears ran down his dirt-filled face when he recalled the raid of the Sword Lake Sect an hour ago.

His master, Fong Zheng, had gone to White Crane Mountains in search for some herbs for his junior disciple. Master Cheung and his son were also gone on business errand at another city, leaving only Housekeeper Fok and his disciples to guard the house.

Actually, from the mouth of Cheng Yuen Jin, Lau Hong realized that the head of Cheung family only created a pretext to take his son away from home in order to keep peace between Sword Lake Sect and Qing Tong Sect.

Fong Zheng also realized that and would have taken leave from the Cheung house immediately if not for the unstable health of his second disciple, Lau Hong. He was still hoping that Dr. Ma would return and help his disciple; therefore, he consented to strong entreating from Master Cheung into staying there a little longer.

Just when Lau Hong and Cheng Yuen Jin were about to retire for the night, they heard the commotion from the reception hall. Cheng Yuen Jin ran out to investigate after order his junior brother to stay put in the room. However, Lau Hong was not the one to be idle. He grabbed a sword and stealthily moved toward the hall. He stopped outside the hall and poked his finger through a papered window and peeked through the hole.

Inside, he saw many dead bodies laying about. Many white snakes slithering across those corpses. Not far away, the housekeeper was fighting white-masked invaders with all his might. Suddenly, a white snake leaped up from one masked figure and landed on the shoulder of Housekeeper Fok. It bit once at his neck and its hapless victim immediately fell down, dead on the spot.

Lau Hong looked for his senior brother and found Yuen Jin was fighting with another masked figure. He had been severely wounded. With a loud shout, Lau Hong ran into the hall to help his brother. At that moment, a silver white shadow leaped up from the hands of Yuen Jin's opponent and was about to land on Yuen Jin's shoulder when Lau Hong intervened in time. Without thinking Lau Hong put himself between the snake and his senior brother. As a result, the snake landed instead on his shoulder. It quickly bit his neck.

Surprisingly, instead of him dropping death, the snake was the one to fall down dead. Its owner was stunned for a moment, and Lau Hong used this opportunity to grab the wounded Yuen Jin and escaped from the Cheung House.

However, soon their pursuers were pursuing them relentlessly. Lau Hong looked at his half conscious senior brother and told himself that he would protect Yuen Jin at all cost. 'After all, I have no future with deadly poison in my body, but brother cheng still have Xiao Lung Er to look forward to.' He made a decision and whispered to Yuen Jin. "Senior brother, I'll lure them to another direction, while you will run away as quick as you can. Find our master and Master Cheung and tell them what happened. Do as I say if you think I am your brother. Don't worry, those snakes cannot hurt me. If fate is willing, we will meet again." Without waiting for an answer, he hugged his senior brother briefly before running back to face his pursuers.

"I am here, you white ghosts. Your faces must be very ugly to wear those masks. You are cowards to attack people like this. Wait till my master Fong Zheng come, and he will slaughter you all till your white outfits turn red. Your white snakes are merely nothing; one has alreay died in my hands. Starving Skeleton! Come and catch me if you dare." He challenged the group dressed in white, while hurling abuses and all insults he could think of to them.

The ruse worked, and the whole group turned to hunt him instead, forgetting about Yuen Jin. Lau Hong used all his strength and concentrated on running, luring his hunters as far away from Yuen Jin as possible.

Now laying in a dark hole, unable to move at the moment, Lau Hong prayed that his senior brother could get away in time. He himself awaited the coming morning where his pursuers would no doubt re-search the again, and no miracles would save him this time.

'Nothing to do now but wait. At least, my attack has passed. I probably should just fill my time meditating so that my entering the land of death shall be peaceful'. With that thought, Lau Hong closed his eyes and tried to meditate. Somehow, he could think of nothing but the content that he had read from the 9 yang manual that Dr. Ma had given to him.

During the time he spent in the Cheung Manor, he didn't have much chance to really practice the manaul. Firstly, he was very concerned of the disappearance of Yuen Jin, then he was puzzling over strange behaviors of Housekeeper Fok and the young Cheung master. The other reason was that he simply had no faith in the mere dirty leather scroll. He had resigned to his death a long time ago, and in spite of what Dr. Ma had boasted to him about the power of the 9 yang manual, he had doubt on the weird doctor's statement.

He saw through Dr. Ma in that the weird doctor wanted him as a new apprentice without really a definite mean to heal him. Therefore, he had determined inwardly that he would never call this weird couple masters how ever hard they made him to.

A whole manual he had read and memorized, however, he found that it was only a buddhist cannon; nothing that would indicate it as a kung fu manual. 'Dr. Ma said that the better I am, the more severe the attack will be. What a crazy statement is that? He wants me to be his apprentice so much that he claimed any of my improvements due to his merit. If I have to choose, I should at least call Mrs. Ma my master instead since she evidently put herself into hard labor searching for rare herbs for me.' Lau Hong mused and tried to forget the 9 yang manual he had been reading in his boring hours.

He did not succeed, however. So giving up at last, he turned to recite each verse from the 9 yang manual instead. 'Maybe it is my fate to goto heaven upon reciting buddhist verses on my deathbed.' He laughed to himself.

------------
thanks for reading.

I have next scene in mind where Lau Hong succeeded in 9 yang manual but have no hsds book on hand so I really cannot state the particular of 9 yang. Can anyone with the book continue from this?

White Krane: Thanks for telling me.
Here's my tiny addition to the story.
-----------------------------------------------
“No! It cannot be true, you are lying to me!” Tian Bo denied, as the familiar feeling of disappointment and betrayal began to overwhelm him as it had once done five years ago. Although outwardly he denied the possibility of Li Yu Mei being such a cunning and devious person, inwardly he knew that Jun Fong would not lie to him. It had been only a few hours since the capture of Xiao Long Er and the unconscious young man, but to Tian Bo it felt as though he had aged ten years. When he had awoken Jun Fong, his first job was to use all of his strength to stop his impulsive sworn brother from chasing blindly after those white clad people, whom of which Tian Bo had guessed correctly was the White Snake Clan. Jun Fong had been difficult to convince, but Tian Bo was use to his impulsive actions and handled it easily. However, the next painful thing to do on the agenda had been to bury Man Mun Tong. Tears had filled both of the living sworn brother’s eyes as they laid their beloved brother to rest. Mun Tong’s face had been peaceful as the first handful of dark soil was sprinkled onto his pale complexion. Both Jun Fong and Tian Bo had knelt down and promised that they would eliminate the murderer and make him pay a with a thousand times more pain than he had caused Mun Tong.

Finally, after the tears had been blinked away, Tian Bo began to question Jun Fong as to whether he knew that Xiao Long Er was from the Dragon Clan. The words poured out like torrents from Jun Fong’s frank and straightforward lips. He began to tell Tian Bo all that he knew about Xiao Long Er and finally of how she was betrayed by Li Yu Mei. In an instant, Tian Bo’s warm pool of joyous emotions of knowing that a wonderful and caring person like Xiao Long Er had been there besides his beloved uncle, turned cold and heavy with disappointment. His first reaction had been to deny, like he had done for the past five years. He could not bring himself to believe that she had betrayed him five years ago and had spent the time convincing himself of all the possible misconceptions that he could have made. For five years he had buried that event deep inside of him hiding it with thousands of more pleasant images of Li Yu Mei, images of her smiling, laughing. Images of Li Yu Mei joking with him and her sweet face when she had coaxed him into teaching her his own special kung fu that had been taught exclusively to him by his uncle.

“Second Brother.”Jun Fong’s voice broke in, unusually soft and gentle. In those two words, Jun Fong had easily made his ideas evident. It was a voice that spoke clearly. It said ‘I know you believe me and that you know that you are in denial. But I trust you will come to yourself and see things for what they really are.’ Tian Bo had understood the underlying message from Jun Fong whom had decided to keep silent, knowing that this was Tian Bo’s battle for he had said all that could have been said. Man Mun Tong’s death and his meeting with Xiao Long Er had had a soothing effect on his blunt and frank statements and for a moment, Jun Fong had been filled with an overwhelming pool of emotions as he watched and clearly saw the internal struggle inside of Tian Bo.
----------------------------------------------------
I was gonna have Tian Bo run away to find himself and then stumble upon Ah Lan and her Si Fu since they are pretty near each other. However, I don't have time so this is it. Someone else can continue this and not use this idea. It's just a suggestion.
Read the Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud now. I swear that you won't regret meeting someone like Bartimaeus. Ever.

"Arghhhh." Leung Tian Bo howled. His inner emotions were in turmoil, and he could no longer hold them inside. Then he stumbled away blindly; all he knew was to find Li Yu Mei and end their debts with each other.

Ko Jun Fung ran after his junior brother, but was pushed back roughly by Tian Bo. He tried again by blocking Tian Bo's path, all the while trying to talk some sense into his second martial brother. But Leung Tian Bo at that moment was like a mad man, a hurt beast that only blood could quench its thirst of revenge. With one move, he sealed Ko Jung Fung's acupunture point, immobilizing him.

Then he jumped over bolders after bolders and started climbing toward a high cliff, while his first martial brother was trying to reason with him. Leung Tian Bo turned deaf ears at every sound; he only saw a face of Li Yu Mei and heard her voice, calling him to her.

He reached the cliff edge and looked down to the abyss below. Li Yu Mei was there, beckoning him in person. Her white neck was gleaming in the sun, luring him to put his big hands around it.

"Li Yu Mei," with a yell, he jumped down. Ko Jun Fung screeched. "Tian Bo!"

Leung Tian Bo's body flew in the air. He felt so peaceful. 'Is this death? I am so happy.' He closed his eyes and let himself fall down further.

His body landed on a big tree branch that thrust out from the cliff wall. And that was where Ah Yee found him, unconscious and barely alive.

Red face

I feel kind of bad for not continuing with this great Round Robin Fanfic. Therefore, I have clipped all the additions so far and hopefully, I'll be able to concoct something tonight worthy of posting.

To have Leung Tian Bo fall off another cliff again seems too redundant. He fell off one five years ago when Li Yu Mei knocked him over stealing his painting. Oh well, if we have to use the same plot devices over and over again, we might as well add a slight twist to it. :humph:

Please stay tuned.

I forgot that he did fall off the cliff once. However, this time is more like a suicide, so shouldn't count.
