The trend for many wulin sects is that they are founded by great and powerful individuals, and then decline with each generation. The Cheun Jen Sect was founded by Central Divinity Wong Chung Yeung, whom at the time was hailed as wulin's top martial artist. In the same generation was his sect brother, Chow Bak Tung. The second generation consisted of the Cheun Jen 7 Disciples, who were individually decent martial artists, but not true elites. The third generation was weaker than the second, and the fourth weaker than the third. Similar situations also attended the Mo Dong Sect (founded by Cheung 3 Fung, represented by the Mo Dong 7 Heroes in the second generation, and then decreasingly prominent from the third generation) and the Ngor Mei Sect. Were there any sects that grew more powerful over time, and later generations were actually stronger than the founders?
