Default Wulin sects that actually grew stronger after the founding generation.

The trend for many wulin sects is that they are founded by great and powerful individuals, and then decline with each generation. The Cheun Jen Sect was founded by Central Divinity Wong Chung Yeung, whom at the time was hailed as wulin's top martial artist. In the same generation was his sect brother, Chow Bak Tung. The second generation consisted of the Cheun Jen 7 Disciples, who were individually decent martial artists, but not true elites. The third generation was weaker than the second, and the fourth weaker than the third. Similar situations also attended the Mo Dong Sect (founded by Cheung 3 Fung, represented by the Mo Dong 7 Heroes in the second generation, and then decreasingly prominent from the third generation) and the Ngor Mei Sect. Were there any sects that grew more powerful over time, and later generations were actually stronger than the founders?

Ming sect, ZMJ is stronger than the founder 😋
Mount Hua sect, LHC would have been stronger than the founder.

LHC might have been stronger, but I doubt he has the leadership. RYY won't had meddled as well. Both left the wulin. Technically, Mount Hua sect didn't get stronger.

The most obvious one should be Shaolin.

I think in the Wuxia universe, the hero or other significant characters do occasionally break the mold and may even surpass the founders of their respective sects--and often times it's due to outside factors and foreign martial arts that didn't originally belong to the sect anyways.

But looking at various sects as a whole, they don't seem to produce stronger generations of practitioners. I guess when you write historical based wuxia, you are kind of forced to show weaker and weaker generations until you reach modern day
