Morning Express II - wif Ann Kok

this is an old series starring ann kok and sum dude keke
i fink he's quite popular, but in every modern series he has long hair, and he's quite kute as well.

just wondering wot people thought of it
i found it quite interesting
ann was very kute and she made a kute couple wif the guy. the story line was interesting as well, and seemed 'new' compared to the many tvb series im watching now.
just want sum voices of opinions on this. =] =p

I've kind of forgotten the storyline since it's an old serial as you said. Was Fann Wong in it? I've forgotten if she's in part 2 or not.

nah, Fann Wong was only in part I. I prefered Part I though. By Part II the story had become a little stale, but great series anyway. Rather refreshing for a singapore production.

I've forgotten about the two plots but I do remember that Part 1 is definitely better, and sweeter.

Here's roughly the plot for Part I:

Chen Hanwei, a new teacher is sent to a secondary school called Yang Guang Zhong Xue (Sunshine Secondary). He gets assigned to the worst class and has to solve some student problems in GTO style, though not so violently. Some of the subplots include him chasing Fann Wong, a materialistic woman who is also the elder sister of Ann Kok, one of Chen Hanwei's student. Ann Kok later gets cancer has has to amputate her legs.. her scenes with Chen Hanwei are quite sweet. There's a problem kid who has some criminal problems, standard fare. There's also Huang Biren, one of Chen Hanwei's fellow teacher who was a student athelete but gave it all up for her marriage. She is tasked with returning track and field glory to Sunshine Secondary. Basically, Chen Hanwei has to get the class to perform well in PSLE... srry, quite an old show so can't remember all the stuff. Oh yeah, there's the theme of the Seagull's story of how it keeps on trying which he tells to everyone (Hai Ou de Jing Sheng).

In Part II, Chen Hanwei is assigned to another secondary. Supposedly Fann Wong left him from Part I to be with a another man (she doesn't make an appearance personally at all). Ann Kok plays a teacher there who IS supposed to look like Fann Wong's sister who supposedly died after Part I from cancer. Again he gets the worst class.. blah blah blah... with alot of rehashed plots. Lacks the originality of Part I and seems to have been made just to milk Part I's success, that's why I prefer Part I.

i like part one cos fann looked cute. (she seemed to look uglier as years passed...age catching up on her?) as for chen hanwei....the last i heard was that my friend wanted to start a fanclub for him....(well she likes him...im not sure how the clubs going now...still in preparation the last i heard from her)

Yeah, fann wong seems to be looking worse each year. As for Chen Hanwei, never really liked him. He had too much of a sissy look to be acting in hunk roles... must've been his long hair back then..

But his role in this show made him extremely popular with many girls.

I like this series but preferred part one.

gosh the story line of both parts seems so alike.

thx gunner for the summary, now i finally understand wot it was all about.

wen i watched it sum of the first part was cut off, coz the satellite signals weren't too gud. i remember seeing chen hanwei riding his bike in a garden or sumfing n he had flashbacks to wen his gf left him n stuff. then i wodnering whether ann looked like her or not?? realli wondered. n that ring that he tossed away! it was so obvious that the two would b a couple after ann found the ring.
but i liked the thing they had wif the paper cranes (it was paper cranes rite) i found that to be kute.

ne1 noe the name of the that female student that kept liing. she was the one where her father was a gangster and her mother was nufing gud either. n she n her mother had their habits of continually liing, making ppl fink that they're rich. she was also in the taiwanese version of the yang lady warriors wif carmen lee as the laos princess.
i recks she's realli pretty n kute.

i also watched the series film (forgot the title) but something with brothers doing the business together .. the film shot with hongkong star and lee ming sun (singaporean star).

fann wong is really cute in there and soo innoncent type :P

In part 2, Chen Hanwei ends up with Ann Kok. Can't remember if there was any conflicting love interest in part 2... and yeah, I saw it on TV.
