In HSDS, there seems to be a recurring motif of great things being hidden in unexpected secret packages. The 9 Yeung Jen Ging was hidden in the belly of a mountain gorilla. The Black Jade Ointment that cured Yu Doi Nam and Yan Lei Ting of their crippling injuries was hidden in Chiu Mun's golden box. The formula for the antidote to the 7 Bugs 7 Flowers Ointment was kept in the beads of Chiu Mun's hair decoration piece. Of course, the 9 Yum Jen Ging and Mo Muk War Tactics Manual were hidden in the Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre (or, at least, a map of where they were hidden in the third edition of the story). Additionally, relevant to the season, messages to anti-Yuan rebels were hidden in mooncakes.
