The Reload/Refresh function doesn't work particularly well at this site . . . at least not on my computer. Usually, jumping to another forum, then back to the forum where I started from is a faster way to refresh/reload than using the device specified for that function.

Depending on the 'cache' or 'temporary files' settings of your browser.
When you reload, the browser will re-download all the data (html + images). This takes time.
If you 'jump' to other forum then back, the browser re-use data in the cache. Maybe different text but still same images.
Does my explaination here make sense? Having trouble itterating it.

The blame lays on your browser, not this forum and its software.
Or maybe it's because of your HUGE sig, as it may take a long while to reload that part

It is not your browser since i tried it too. I think sometime the server is running a little slow, like last night, it takes forever to refresh.
