    Default Lee Byung Hun

The one, the incomparable, the only Lee Byung Hun. And I used to think that Louis Koo is the only guy for me to lust after! Unfortuantely, ever since "Beautiful Days," I am unable to find him in any other Korean series, since I only watch Korean series that are Vietnamese dubbed. Anyway, the talented actor deserved to have his own thread so come join me!

Gosh, I am so jealous. Beside "Beautiful Days," I have not seen him anywhere else in Korean series that have Viet dubbed. Oh, did you 2 vote for him? Someone starts a thread on voting for best Korean actors, and our beloved Lee Byung Hun is not very high on the list .

Lee Byong Hyon once was adopted by the president of Dae Woo.. because he was such a nice chap.

Later he got in the rumour with Song Hey Gyo.. and they admit that they are dating.
    So we will see.

Oh, must put in my 2 cents worth of comments. Not only is LBH HOT, he's a terrific actor ! He was simply wonderful in All In. Love the friendship theme in there. His chemistry with Song Hye Gyo was good too. The only complaint I have regarding All In is the extremely anticlimatic ending. It was good until the last 4 episodes . But it was still worth the buy. Heard LBH and SHG are engaged to be married next spring. Although there is a 13 years age gap between them, I think they look quite compatible . Such a cute couple. Wish them the very best!

Well, it hasn't been set in stone, but there are rumors . I think they make a sweet pair. Although, it is quite a shame that he's now "attached."

Mystery - All In has not been dubbed in Viet, yet. There is only the Korean audio version with English subtitles available. My guess is that it should be released in Viet in a year or two.

Just in case someone is interested in a quick synopsis...

    From SoKorean Entertainment News Reviews:
As a kid, all Kim In-Ha (Lee Byung Hun) did was follow his gambler uncle around and cheat for him. As a high school student, he hung with his friends at the basement of a theater. When he gets to know Jung Won (Ji Sung), a perfect student and also the only son of a very rich family, In Ha tries to tempt him into the low-life world he lives in. Min Soo-Yun (Song Hye Gyo) is the daughter of a theater worker who becomes orphaned when her father dies.

In part of revenge of their friend's injury and her father's death In-Ha and Jung-Won set up a murderous fire. Consequently, they are put in jail. Jung-Won comes out of the crime and leaves for US while In-Ha serves for ten years and gambles to bail his way out. Jung-Won works at a casino and Soo-Yun is studying to become a nun, but fails and becomes a card dealer at the same casino instead. In-Ha starts to work at the casino as security guard. The three meet again and In-Ha and Soo-Yun fall in love, but people are chasing after In-Ha, so he runs away to the US, not telling Soo-Yun.

The fierce competition in the casino world is thoroughly seen through this drama, as the ambitions of two men clash with each other: for money, success, and even women

    From YesAsia:
The movie describes their wild and reckless lives until the two main characters confront each other in a gripping show-down that decides over life and death! The touching movie portrays the ambition of men for success vibrantly through many faceted situations thatleave the viewer breathless! However, there are also quiet and thoughtful moments that revolve about love and its consequences to provide an all-round portrayal of the characters concerned. Lee Byung-hun reflects his captivating charisma in the leading role as "Kim In-ha" who attempts to survive in the tough gambling world, while Ji-sung appears as his opponent Choi Jung-won the member of a rich family. Another note-worthy character is the dealer Min Su-yeon who falls in love with the protagonist and is portrayed by "A tale of Autumn" star Song hae-kyo!

The only series I've seen of Lee Byung Hun is in "Beautiful Days" and I was sorta not with him at the beginning, but a little more into the series I was so much in love with him. Lol He is a amazing actor!!! Gosh, wonderful guy too. Though I don't know him, but gotta think he is wonderful.

Lol, I like his hair colour!!! Its just a great shade, lol. Like his hairstyle a lot in BD, not too much with his hair style in those pics posted by tweety. A little too cut on the sides....hehe, but still cute

Can't wait to see more of him and I'm waiting for All In to be released. Sounds interesting and we'll be able to see LBH with his gf in there. Hehehe, will be expecting very good romantic scenes from the two. Gosh, I'm quite depressed however, lol. Can't believe that LBH and SHG are developing so fast!!! Next thing I'll hear they are about to be married. But I still wish himthe best

Tweety 365, thank you for the sypnosis on All In. I can hardly wait 'til it dubbed in Viet. That's so unfair.

Goddessofhonour, totally agreed with you on our beloved darling. I cannot believe he doesn't want to stay single for a few more years so we can drool over him. What a shame!

Everyone, we need more pictures but I don't have the expertise to post them so can everyone help!

    You're very welcome, Mystery.

Why can't we drool over a married/engaged guy? It's not like most of us will ever have the chance to even see him. Although, I'll probably be too shock to speak and will just stand there like an idiot. Either that or over him. Hehehehe. He is still HOT married or not. Just my opinion.

    Tweety365,

Darling, we girls preserved the right to drool over any handsome man. It's just that if he's not yet married, it'll still be a little fantasy that one day he'll see one of us, fall in love at first sight and asked for our hand in marriage . Don't you ever have those daydreams?

I'm totally with you . Definitely have those fantasies, but then, reality kicks in and it sucks. I would seriously love to give him a .

Him and my Bae Yong Joon . Of course, if it is BYJ, security guards might be needed to pry me away from his side. However, before they come, I am determined to get a BIG bear hug first. That's all I want. Well... since I'm at it, might as well get a handshake and some pictures too .

    Hey Goddess,

Did you know that there are far more Korean series in Vietnam than in this country? That's so unfair. I mean, I was visiting my grandparents in Vietnam a few years ago, I could have discovered him sooner but oh well! Anybody has a chance to visit Vietnam, don't forget to buy some Korean series' VCD and share with the rest of us unlucky ones!

    Lee Byung Hun forever!

Yes, there are a lot more Korean series out in Vietnam than in the US, but the dubbing is horrendous. When I first heard from my relatives that the dubbing was bad, I thought to myself... how bad could it be? I was able to bypass the annoying voices in the 80s series and got use it. But, dude, when I finally had a chance to listen to some of the series from Vietnam, I was like . It was simply terrible, it made my skin crawled. (figuratively speaking )

There is basically one woman dubbing all the female characters and one man dubbing all the male characters. No emotion is conveyed at all . You'd think that with over 70 million people in Vietnam (the numbers may have changed), they would do a better job than in the US. . It is a very sad situation . If this wasn't the case, I would tell my relatives to send me Korean series from Vietnam.

This is what happens when Communism takes control of a country . Bad dubbings and causing poverty to overrun the country. I apologize for going offtopic . I will shut up now...
