Yes because the official translation will be released this coming march. So like anime, mostly the fansubbing will be stop (usually ) whenever the anime get license in the US

Cool! Even though I have read the novel, I definitely plan on checking out her book. I'm a big fan of her translations.. I think she does a great job of conveying Gu Long's words.
a note from becky
and the book is out on the 28th Mac 2004, I already pre-ordered them from amazon. Can't wait to read more on Little Master & Count CarefreeSorry, everyone, I cannot post translations of Xiao Shiyi Lang any more. I know many people are waiting to read the next chapter of Xiao Shiyi Lang, but I'm sorry to say that I cannot post new chapters of the translations any more. I have obtained the English translation right from the copyright owner of this novel, and I'm negotiating a contract with an American publisher to have this translation published in the US. It will probably come out in May next year. And neither the copyright holder nor the publisher wants me to post any new chapters or secretly circulate new chapters via email.
So has anyone gotten their book yet? B&N doesn't even have it in stock, and it says 4-6 weeks on amazon.
I've been keeping tabs on when its coming out on the publisher's website and they say it will be coming out in april so hopefully it will be available some time this month.

Of course, anyone can say anything they like in these forums, so who knows.
I wanted to share with you an email I received from Homa Books (www. homebooks.com) regarding "The Eleventh Son" -
Dear Renee,
Thank you for your inquiry.
The publication of The Eleventh Son has been postponed to June, 2004
for some marketing reasons. We will update our website shortly to
reflect that change. We will notify you by email as soon as the book is
printed.
The list price of the book is $19.95. We offer 20% discount to our web
customers. $15.96 is the after-discount price for the book. The
shipping cost is $5.00 for one book. (We need to fix the $4.00 shipping
cost confusion also.)
You may wish to send in your check now so that we will make sure you
are among the first to get the book from us.
Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you.
Thank you again for your interest in Gu Long.
Best regards,
Tom Lee

An update - I finally received my copy from Homa Books yesterday. Tom Lee from Homa Books emailed me on Friday that the book was shipping and it arrived Monday, priority mail. So for those of you that are interested, the book is now available after months of delay.
