GYY's last picture exhibited her gorgeous image with lively long wavy light-colored hair. The hat was kinda "over her head" (too big and strange). But nonetheless, she looked stunningly beautiful, with a touch of mystique.

I have just happened to come across this...is GYY and some unknown guy staging a play or something? Looks seemingly tragic.

I tink the play is a stage version of Gao Yuan Yuan's lastest movie "Yan Yu". The male lead was Xia Yu. This should be a comedy. One scene showed that they were naked, but of course, they were shown bare only about their shoulders to imply they were naked.

haha....no i didn't have time to watch it anymore because of job, maybe when i get more free time. The series was only 22eps, it was short.

Oh, btw, did they lose GYY's luggage. Her skirt looked suspicious! It's kinda funny that Xia Yu seemed to point at her skirt! "Hahaha, you forgot to iron your skirt!" or "Hahaha, you have so much static clingy thingies!"

He's actually very famous in maninland. Xia Yu's well-known for his acting skills and won a prestigeous award or two before. In the past, he and Yuan Quan were known as the "Golden Couple" since they dated for almost a decade.

I was glad the rumor that GYY was going out with Xia Yu to be untrue. He is no match for GYY's aura. Not even close! He is not even fair, never mind being cute! For that matter, he should stick with Yuan Quan!

I find him pretty alright and charismatic even; much better than GYY's ex, Zhang Yadong. Anyway the rumours are yet to be confirmed or denied. Both GYY and Xia Yu have remained silent on the issue and refused to make any comments on the supposed romance going on between them.

Her acting was quite good, but I think the plot could be better. I didn't quite see the connection between them 2 and the other couple. The 2 pairs seemed like in separate stories.

How's GYY in there? I've never watched her in a modern drama before! But I sure do love to see her in ancient ones.

Yes, quite true. They four main characters only met once and that's it, they never met again. I guess it is meant to be two seperate stories? By the way, the two guys are brothers aren't they? They never elaborated on that either...

It's a scene where Xia Yu's character accidentally chances upon GYY's character who is on the verge of committing suicide and saves her by plunging her head into a tub filled with water. Many people were impressed by the in-your-face-water-splashing reality kinda scene and gave GYY extra praise for performing that act again and again every night. GYY mentioned it was tedious rehearsing for that scene but she knows how to breathe under water etc. so she doesnt get painfully affected (eg, water going into mouse and nose) by it.

I wasn't aware of this but while performing and rehearsing for stageplay "Yan Yu" at the same time, GYY also filmed 2 TV serials where she appeared as supporting characters. One was in "Da Qin Di Guo", a grand costume epic (pics and info several pages back), and another was in "Jiangnan Di Yi Dian", another costume series which just wrapped up filming a few days ago.
