After almost 2 months of intense rehearsals, GYY finally gave her opening performance as the character Ophelia in a stage adaptation of Hamlet, entitled, "Hamlet 1990" earlier tonight in Beijing. Playwright and director is Lin Zhao Hua.

GYY, who plays Ophelia, proved skeptics wrong as she touched the audience with her natural acting and genuine expressions. Her performance won praises and enthusiastic members of the audience rushed on stage after the play to present her with flowers.

昨晚的完美演出让高圆圆给舆论交了一份满意的答卷。没有专业戏剧表演经验的她用自己的真情流露和少女情动演 活了已经 444岁的莎士比亚脑海中的纯真少女奥菲利亚，并且发现了自己对角色的全新认识：“奥菲利亚是这个戏中唯一 没有罪的人，我觉得她是一个很宿命的人，我也特别认同这种宿命感，她的悲剧和可贵正在于她的被动，奥菲利亚 不是一个掌握自己命运的人。”

GYY presented us an amazing answer with her wonderful performance last night. Although she does not have any professional experience with stage plays, she managed to bring alive the 444 year old character with passionate acting and youthful energy. In the process, GYY discovered an all new side of the character, "Ophelia is the only innocent person in the play, I feel that she's a person bounded by fate and her tragic end is a result of her being manipulated, she is not someone who knows how to turn her back on all other things and live her own life."

Compare her chest in these shots with the very recent Dior function. And she looks extremely thin in these photos- she looks as if she's lost 5 kg since she last appeared in public which is only a few days ago
