i find louis koo more attractive...therefore, if both male leads' roles are equally cool men then i would prefer to have gyy pair up with louis. just my 2 cents.![]()

Anyone watched "Season of Good Rain"?

It has a really simple plot but i like the deeper emotions of the characters- much better than other similar works GYY has done, like "Love in the City". Also think GYY's acting has improved, she seems more natural and less contrived in this movie though her English requires a lot of improvement. Jung Woo Sung actually speaks much better English.

Watched it last week, the plot is simple and expected. Nothing much to comment except of nice scenery of Sichuan, good looking people like GYY and Jung Woo Sung.Oh GYY voice deepens when she speak english, kinda weird when compare to her speaking mandarin.

^ That dress does not flatter her figure at all.I like her make-up, though. Very fresh and neutral.
Just a quickie on what GYY's up to atm.
She's just started filming a new HK movie titled "Jun Zi Dao" (literally trans. as the Gentleman's way). The film is set in 1930s Shanghai style and draws inspiration from the classic "Shanghai Bund". Leon Lai plays the male lead while GYY plays the female lead role of the head of an underground triad. This is the first time GYY will tackle a "female gangster" type of character and she's looking forward to the challenge. Filming has recently commenced in Liaoning, China.

GYY has been cast in a new HK movie titled "Gao Hai Ba Zhi Lian 2" where she plays the female lead opposite Louis Koo. This will be GYY and Louis' third collaboration after the recent "Don't go breaking my heart" (filmed late last year and to be released middle of this year) and "Rob-B-Hood" in 2006. The supporting cast also include mainland's Wang Bao Jiang and Huang Yi. Filming has recently commenced in Yunnan, China.

I assume she's still together with Yu Xiaowei since there hasn't been any news about them breaking up or having trouble with their r/s. Then again, GYY has always been a quiet and low-profile actress who likes to keep her personal life private so I guess we can't know for sure how her r/s is going unless she or YXW makes a public statement about it. Or the paparazzi manages to dig out info.
On a side note, although I'm glad to see GYY do well with her movie career, I really miss seeing her on TV. It's a pity she hardly does any more period productions because she usually looks so good in them. I wish she'll make a comeback with a series or two and paired up with a matured and hot enough actor for her, like Wallace Chung or Yan Kuan.

"Dan Shen Nan Nu" (Don't go breaking my heart) will be released in China and HK theaters at the end of March. While posing for the movie poster, leads Daniel Wu and Louis Koo had to kiss Gao Yuan Yuan over a hundred times to perfect the shot. Daniel joked that he hasn't even kissed his real wife that many times while Louis complained that his lips were numb after the session.

That's funny. But in reality, I'm sure neither of them found it much of a chore.
L & D have been paired up a lot within the past few years (not that I'm complaining).
I'm really excited to see this, despite the fact that it'll most likely be a let-down plot/script-wise, considering the quality of Chinese cinema nowadays (especially where romantic comedies are concerned). At least it'll be awesome eye-candy.
