those who dun understand mandrain, it juz says that gyy was asked to sing with the other casts for the themesong of "tian xia di yi" but she refused cause she says that she cannot and doesnt know how to sing well and doesnt have a nice voice.

from wad i gathered, seems like gyy is gonna die in this series. her role is a quiet and introvert one and she laters marries li yapeng and plays a wife role. because li yapeng hurt his leg while filming, the director decided to transfer some of his action scenes to gyy. gyy doesnt like doing action stunts and she's afraid of the stunts trainer who is said to be very fierce but later she finds out frm frens that he's a nice person.

Huh?? She is afraid of action stunts can't believe it... Any idea how she managed ti fly in HSDS then?? So can we actually say that GYY's role in Tian Xia Di Yi is no different to that of a cameo??

i think she had a stunt double in hsds03 and she juz had to fly with wires but in world's finest, she had to really do the stunts herself and really fight. she's guest star in there and will b appearing for abt 15episodes or so....wont get to see her alot since shes not the lead actress but its not clear who is the lead since there are so many actresses each with a rather important role but frm wad i heard, michelle yip has the most screentime outta all the actresses and her role is supposed to b the main 1. some1 watched the series already and said that there r too many actresses appearing that its not sure who is the main 1 so i think gyy has as much screentime as the others juz not as much as michelle...thats wad i hope

Does anybody know if the "US" version of QWLSM is "cut"? It's only 40 VCDs and the first 24 VCDs doesn't match the first 24 VCDs of the "Asia" release.

Anyone here actually watched the unabridged airing of this serial? Does it show any actual combat between the brothers at the end?

In the US version, the drama pretty much stopped at the point where Li Shi Min was given the arrow that killed Ruoxi. (Cut from here to Li Shi Min being enthroned.)

If this is the actual ending, it's a horrid ending!

yeah the version i bought was also only 40episodes...and i thought the ending was dumb too, they didnt even show how li shiming killed his brothers...pretty weird..juz he became emperor..at 1st i thought i missed out on something...ending's really weird...and 1 more thing, i dunno but when gyy died, li jiancheng seemed much more heartbroken thn li shiming which is weird since li shiming loves ruoxi so much..or is it peter ho's fault for not acting sad enough?

The 40 episodes and 48 episodes sets should have the same footage, but they're just cut differently. The episodes in the 40 set are probably longer than the 48 ones. Since I have the 48 episodes version, I'll confirm this when I'm done watching the series.

'Kay, I just watched the last couple of minutes of episode 48 of QWLSM before the closing song and can confirm that the ending is as bad as you guys have mentioned. I also have to say that Peter Ho looks terrible with that ratty mustache. Just picturing him as the emperor Li Shimin and attempting to look all serious makes me burst out laughing. What a joke. Okay, now to go back and actually watch the second half of this series.

agree tat peter looked horrible as emperor tang taizhong...the attempt to make him look more matured and serious failed miserably. and was it his golden cap or head gear...it was way too big for his head that i couldnt contain my laughter...

Li Shimin's title after his father Li Yuan became emperor was Qin Wang. His title became Tang Tai Zong after he himself ascended the throne.

wow thanks for the pics of gyy in her latest series....she looks really pretty in "tian xia di yi" as in like all her ancient series, especially in the pink outfit...any info on her latest modern serial or when is it gonna b released? also any pics/info abt her series, "yan hua san yue"..when is it gonna b released?
