Hi Ya'll

I'm a newbie - New to the forum and new HXM fan. I must admit, I've been under a rock for awhile now....since I just discovered him .... like about 2 days ago, haha. I stumbled on HXM in ROCH '06 while surfing youtube. Unlike most, I adored him in ROCH '06. It was this series that I fell mad in love with him, lol. I know a lot of folks were annoyed by young YG, but I thought he did great. I get that he was annoyingly childish but that was exactly how the character was supposed to be. He was playing the part as it should be played. Generally, childish behaviour can be very annoying...that's why a lot of people are not fond of young actors. I'm an avid fan of the novel and according to how young YG was described in the book, HXM's portrayal was spot on. Young YG was supposed to be handsome (er..checked), clever (checked), extremely / childishly mischievous (checked). I really enjoyed his performance in this series. And it also help that I find him hotter than hell. Since then, I have also watched Shanghai Bund and tried hard to not compare him to my all time favorite actor - Chow Yun Fat. I thought HXM did a good job but his character is lacking development - therefore, lacking some depth. Again, he's hot than the sun in this series.. I also watched a few episodes of Summer Bubble and just hate this one with a passion. The plot is stupid, and all characters are so shallow. I especially hate the stupid hairdos on both male characters since I find the Bieber's hairstyle dumb and distracting. HXM is way more handsome and has much more chemistry with the lead female character than the other dude, but because of the dumb haircut, I just could not care about his character at all. Anyway, long introduction...lol.

^ Hello and welcome lol I thought I was the only one who didn't like his hairstyle in Summer's Desire. Hmm he was not bad in ROCH '06. Though I did not like the character itself (nothing to do with HXM lol), but I enjoyed his interactions with LYF, not to mention his fighting scenes <3. Most fans fell in love with him after watching Shanghai Bund though. You should watch it if you haven't.

Thank you for the welcome. I thought this thread is dead, lol but gave it a try. I just finished my marathon of Shanghai Bund. He's so fantastic and not to mention yummy in this series. LOVED IT! My only complaint is that his character seemed to lack some depth. Otherwise, it was awesome - sad ending though.

Is it confirmed that Angelababy is his gf? Her face annoys the hell out of me for some reasons.. Am I the only who dislike Angelababy? Maybe it is because of her bimbo like stage name "baby", Thanks for sharing his pictures. He's sooooo incredible hot Love it when he's decked out in suits.

He has so much chemistry with LYF that I wish they are real life couple

Yeah it's confirmed. I don't know much about Angelababy, but many people dislike her personality. Still, I'm not liking her, but I'll support them together, if he's truly happy with her (and if it's not a publicity stunt) lol.

I like him with LYF as well. They're pretty good friends in real life.

That's one of my favorite songs by hxm along with "Shen me dou ke yi". But yeah agreed, Angelababy sure isn't 100% natural lol. Oh I like LYF's looks a lot. Her eyes are perfection <3 Hope they could do a series/movie together in the future. It's been a while since they've worked together though.

lol don't worry, he said that he's not a smoker and that he dislikes smoking. It wasn't until Shanghai Bund that he was forced to smoke. He said that he would always feel really dizzy as well as wanting to vomit...
Even though he got into a habit, he doesn't smoke except for situations where he needs to (such as photoshoots, tv series, movies). I mean he was never caught smoking when not asked to...but I wish they could stop asking him to smoke during some photoshoots and in tv series/movies because he needs to maintain that flawless face of his <3
