Hey guys. Newbie here! I have been a fan of HXM since a while, but I could not find a place to spazz about him. Finally found this place, though it is quite quiet here lol. Da Han Tian Zi was his first drama I watched. I really like him in that drama and in Shanghai Bund cuz I believe these were the best acting performances done by him. I know that his acting isn't that good, but he really improved and if you watched his works from 2011 - recent, you will notice how his acting became more natural, consistent. I just Royal Tramp and I really enjoyed. I LOVED HXM and Wallace's interactions together. HXM was somewhat dorky, funny and cute in the series, so it's worth to watch it if some of you haven't.

Hi Ya! I'm new here too It's quiet here indeed, lol. Asides from the two you mentioned, I also like his performance in ROTCH 06. I know he got quite a few criticisms in that film, but I thought he was excellent in it. He didn't seem to hold back on his emotions as Yang Guo, and that was what drew me to him....well, the fact that he looked so hot in it helped too,

Hey newbie I enjoyed Da Han Tian Zi as well. About ROTCH, tbh, this was my least favorite Jin Yong's work but I surprisingly enjoyed lol. True there were a few criticism, but Jin Yong said himself that he found that ROCH 06 was his favorite version.
OH OH OH Royal tramp <3 This has become one of my top favorite Mainland Chinese TV series, mainly because DOMD is my favorite of all JY's works. HXM was indeed cute with all his interactions with Wallace. I though he acted better in DOMD 08 than in ROTCH 06. We all know that Wei Xiao Bao is a complicated and difficult character to portray because it had a lot of depth. The fact that HXM was able to portray this character in an average way is really amazing though. I mean, it is nothing compared to the older version, but it is still amazing.

Agreed about his acting becoming more natural and consistent from 2011. He did great in "The Message". I'm looking forward for his upcoming movie "Xue Di Zi". Apparently, his acting performance is going to be as great (or even better) as in "The Message". Also looking forward for his upcoming TV series "Patriot Yue Fei" with Ruby Lin <3
