Look at the above pictures. What is wrong with those people? On Shen Diao's poster they wrote "Da Ming Tian Zi" instead of Da Han Tian Zi next to Jiao Zhu's name. And then on Da Han Tian Zi III's poster they wrote Han Wu Da Di II instead. How can they be like that? What are they trying to do? Are they out or their little minds?
Don't get upset. I too do not know what's wrong with them..so unprofessional!

Don't know whether these were taken on the first day of filming or not but the news release said that the very first filming sequence involved Xu Wen Qiang smoking. Before filming start, ever since the costume try out day, Jiao Zhu had been practicing very hard the smoking movements from others and tried figuring out the feelings. To film this part, Jiao Zhu ended up smoking more than ten sticks of cigarettes for real. Jiao Zhu described he coughed a lot and felt very uncomfortable because of smoking in big amount of nicotine and his body could not handle it. He said people tried to teach him ways to smoke without breathing in the smoke but he still has not able to grasp the technique so seems like he will still have to do it for real. Jiao Zhu said people had asked him whether he worries he will get addicted. He replied right now he has no way to worry about that, he's more concern with how to make it look like as though he's an expert.

On the one hand, I'm really admire Jiao Zhu's professionalism but on the other hand I'm also so worry and sorry for Jiao Zhu.
Yah I too worry for him....its easy to get addicted...I have met several determined man who just can't quit smoking too.

Oh, I'm not upset. I'm just mad, really really mad.

And have you seen what they wrote on the top of the poster too? "Huang Xiao Ming PK Chen Bao Guo". What the heck?

Yah, but there are plenty successfull cases as well. With enough determination and supports, it's possible. Let's just hope for the best.

I don't think he'll get addicted. He has very strict discilpine on himself.

I finally bought Liao Zhai Zhi Yi yesterday. Costs around 30 bucks here in Australia. It's the DVD, so the price is great.

Finally I can join in the crowd with the discussion on Liao Zhai.

Lol. HXM better comes out nicotine-free after this series, for enough apprehension already paid by his fans.
I think he can do it. $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/17/17_1_10.gif')

That is pretty pathetic. I guess they're trying to play off the success of Han Wu Da Di, but it's not like Da Han Tian Zi wasn't a popular series on its own. It seems like advertisers will sink to almost any length to attract viewers...misleading audiences by putting big name actors on posters when they really have about 5 minutes of screentime and of course the ol' made-up stretchy "sequels" as demonstrated here. Let's at least give them credit for getting the two leads right on the ROCH poster.

I'm glad to know that HXM was never a smoker before having to pick up the nasty habit for the Shanghai Tan remake. It's unsettling, but at the same time courageous of him to sacrifice his habits and health for the sake of realistic filming. It kind of reminds me of when he pierced one of his ears for Nu Cai Nan Mao.

Yes, they were all from the health mag. The poster was included in the mag so it was creased. Yes, the fans were so happy and posted them at his website.

Yes, the pictures look a little intense.

In Singapore, the actors smoke the fake cigarettes for the non-smokers I heard. They should do that for China actors too. Its not tobacco but something else that is not addictive and unhealthy.

You know what, the first time I saw picture of Jiao Zhu holding the stuffed dog was in his essay describing how he spent New Year Eve with his parent. That day, his parent especially brought a lot of his favorites sea foods from Qing Dao. He on the other hand, sneak out to buy roses for his mother. After diner, everyone start to discuss what will be the best time to burn the fireworks but in the end no one was able to be patient enough to wait until 12 o'clock thus they burn them ahead of time. This year was the first year Beijing lifted fire crackers restriction so a lot of people play fireworks this year. When everyone was watching CCTV's New Year show, his mother was busy making dumplings in the kitchen. Eventhough Jiao Zhu couldn't help his mother making dumplings, he suddenly came up with a playful idea. He told his mother to put all kind of food in the house like peanuts, dates, chocolates, etc into some of the dumplings and see who will got them. When the hot dumplings were brought up, it turned out the first two dumplings Jiao Zhu got for himself were those "weird taste" dumplings. Jiao Zhu's luck was really "good".

    Here's the picture:

Exactly, I also don't see the point they doing so. Da Han Tian Zi has it's own fame. Back then, they already misleading people using Chen Dao Ming's name in Da Han II. This time, it's even worst. Doing so reflects bad on Jiao Zhu. They did the exact same thing with Jie Deng (Xun Yi Chao II/Lavender II). I really object such behaviors.

Yeah, this is the second time when Jiao Zhu has to do something against his own character for the sake of filming.
