Hey everyone! Jiao Zhu looks so hot in that tux. I can't wait to see him in this next series. [sigh], another long wait for the non-Chinese speaking folks. Oh well, at least we have pictures and this forum.

I have mentioned the resemblance before. He looks so much like a Chinese Jude Law in those pictures above!

Yeah I know. But for all we know Jude Law could be the British Huang Xiao Ming. HAHAHA

Yes, sure. I like men with long sideburns too. So cool.

It looks like Shanghai grand time period because it is Xin Shang Hai Tan. Jiao Zhu plays Xu Wen Qiang, Xun Li plays Feng Cheng Cheng, and Huang Hai Buo plays Ding Li. I posted quite a few photos from this series in several pages before, check them out when you have time.

This is China's remake of "The Bund". HXM supposedly plays the role that shot Chow Yun Fat to superstardom back in the late 70s/early 80s.

Thanks for that piece of information. I didn't know he's so talented. He looks really cool in All In.

You mean Shogun starring Richard Chamberlain and Yoko Shimada? It's an old but acclaimed tvseries that I've heard, but I haven't watched it yet. I read the James Clavell's novel though. The book was good!
I think it's a new one. The first chapter is made in 2003 and the second Chapter came out last year. I like the first chapter more. There was an old version made in the 80s or 90s I think under the same name, since the name Da Ao simply means the Shogun's Royal Household.

uchikake, I just want to thank you for answering my post in such a well-roganized manner.

    Cool pics, chaule!

I always love the news update you put up on Jiao Zhu. Saves me so much time going to read the news on his website.

Sometimes I feel a bit depressed. Uni is nice, but on the human side of things, something always seemed to be lacking. Somehow in this society, I don't feel like a human being. I'm almost forgetting how to live.

Does anyone able to save the set of Shang Hai Tan photos I posted in posts #1182, 1188, &1189? If someone did, would you please post them up again for me? I just linked them here but didn't save them down yet. Now they are all moved.

Same here, I like men with sexy long sideburns too. Hehe.

Do you know when they'll be done with filming this series and when it will be aired?

This is the girl playing opposite HXM in the Shanghai remake? Wow, she looks really pretty. I think more pretty than the lead girl in the old version of Shanghai. She matches well with HXM. Hope they will be able to carry out good chemistry in their actings too.

She may look beautiful there, but not anymore with this hair style...

The filmings are half way done. They have about 2 more months to go.

il il il ILK! The thick straight bang and big curl wig! So unnatural looking! But isn't that a usual hairstyle for the girls in shanghai mv whenever they'd dress up westernly? It makes her look like a cheap porcelain doll there. Hehe.

How long more it'd take for this series to DVD time for us, you think? I also can only watch Viet dubbed.
