Hey there you guys!!! Gosh, soooo many replies and more members coming in!!! Thats greatHehe, welcome Lingz and Arashi!!! Glad you two have popped in to talk, even if its the conversation that attracted you and not Benny.... *coughs....Arashi....coughs* Hehe, also welcome rachellam
So your new to this forum? Welcome to the forum also and enjoy browsing around!!!
There is a Joyce Chen thread in the actresses forum, but no picture of her. Joyce is most known for her role in Virtues of Harmony as the youngest sibling in the three. (Frankie Lam and Micheal Tse) Anyways she was also in Anti-Crime Squadhehe, let me see if I can spark any memory of her for you Lingz. In JTTW2 she played as the little green bird that fell in love with Benny's monkey king. She was also the niece of Kingdom Yuen who was the crow.
Now on to Fennie in Heartstrings. Yeah, I think she was shot and the injury was very severe so her life was already hanging on a thin string. So since she knew she would die, she wanted to donate her heart to Gigi. Aaron did love them both, but at seperate times. He loved Fennie in the beginning of the serial, but once they broke up, he was devoted fully to Gigi. Yeah, Fennie was a bit unreasonable in here, yet in the end you've got to pity her.
I like Joyce Chen as a pairing to Benny. I thought they were really cute in JTTW2, but it was a shame that they didn't end up togehter. So in Dark Tales 2, I was really excited that htye were in both stories together and had a very happy ending in the first one!!! Also they were in Anti-Crime Squad together. I didn't mind them not having anythig in there since they didn't really match characterwise
Yup, I just love Benny as Duan Yu!!!! His debut serial and he did so extraordinary in it that I don't think anyone will forget his performance!!! Hehe, his Na Zha was nicely done too. Would agree with you Lingz that he was better in the last part. In the beginning he was just too childish and thought he knew everything, sorta hot headed also. But if he wasn't that then we woudln't see such a development characterwise*Oh yes, did you guys know that Joyce Chen is dating John Tang or somthing. Forgot his last name, but he is her pair in VOH and he was in Gods of Honour as Benny's oldest brother*
You know, I don't really care for the whole Benny and Charmaine thing anymore. True or not, not paying attention. If they want to admit or keep "hidding" it then fine. axt, I think that what its meant that it might give their carreers a negative influence is that many fans of both or neither might start disliking them because of the other. Like me, if this was true then I would feel a bit less into Benny since knowing he is dating Charmaine.
hey rachellamLol, yeah this is the Benny thread, but we sorta got carried away with some sub-conversations. Getting back to Benny though, hehe. Yeah, he isn't doing any TVB dramas at the moment. Won't be filming one till next year right? He's in Taiwan doing serials.... Anyways he was Duan Yu in the 96 version, just in case you need to know. Yeah, watching the newest DGSD version also..... Not too into it yet, but we'll see, hehe.
Gosh, such a long reply!!! I gotta come in here everyday now!!!!! hehe, hope to hear from you guys all soon!!!

After watching 10 episodes of it, I do agree that Fennie is indeed much bearable in here compared to Law Enforcers. Although she still looks quite expressionless in Dragon Love, at least, her portrayal of an innocent and gentle dragon girl is quite passable. Her deep love for Benny is evident. Benny's performance is nothing spectacular since this is like one of his usual scholarly roles. He fits in easily and as before, a pleasure to watch.
Both are extremely rumour-prone artistes ever since they started out. Both are reputed to have messy private lives. Over the years, I do believe some of these reports are credible. 'No smoke, no fire' Oh well then, nevertheless, this still does not affect Benny being one of my most well-liked artistes ever. As said, he simply has screen presence and is lovable. Whnever he appears onscreen, my vision is automatically fixed onto him.
I remember a lot of the scenes that had him and Kingdom in it. Most memorable to me would be her death and Benny crying on the mountain top.....
Oh well, I am too lazy and tired to retype everything. Shall drop a few sentences about it and continue with the rest the next day.
How about you. botan? Your views?
Of course, it also shows the unity of the 3 brothers.
I'm very curiosu on that serial now and really excited too since I just love Jiang Zu Ping!!!
!
Come to think of it, there are quite a number of loopholes in here. Oh, just wanna say, I like the themesong and have even downloaded the themevideo.
