What's your absolute favorite Disney cartoon of all time? There is a separate topic for the Pixar cartoons so they were not included in this poll.
My favorite is The Lion King- (with Beauty and the Beast a close second)

Mulan
Cinderella
Sleeping Beauty

The Lion King is my favorite as well.
You forgot quite a few pretty popular ones from your list, such as 101 Dalmations, The Little Mermaid, Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Pinocchio, Pocahontas, Tarzan, Hercules, The Aristocats, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Lilo and Stitch.

I would have included them, but the maximum number of choices on polls is only ten. I liked all of those as well.Originally posted by Lady Zhuge

Mulan
How come no DUMBO? I still cry watching the mother cradling poor little dumbo. Pinochio? Hunchback? A lot lot more
My favourite has to be The Lion King (if Pixar is not considered as Disney's). Until today I still fast forward the scene where mufasa was thrown off the cliff by his brother Scar. I always thought Scar should be nominated for an oscar, likewise next year Dory of Finding Nemo should be nominated.
What about the worst disney animation? Amongst all Pocahontas, I hate it with a passion I didn't know I have,.

My favourite Disney cartoon is actually The Fox and the Hound. A very touching story about about 2 friends who are destine to be enemy when they grow up (the hound is suppose to help his master - a hunter - hunt for foxes). But since it's not on the list, I'll choose Beauty and the Beast, my second favourite. My third favourite is The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Have seen the recent Lilo and Stitch yet so can't judge.
The only Disney cartoon I can never bring myself to see is Hercules because of it's deviation from the original story. I would not have been so picky if it's other story, but Hades/Pluto is my favourite Greek/Roman God and I hated that Disney made him the bad guy. Hades has nothing to do with the ordeal of Hercules. He never scheme against his brother Zeus/Jupiter. He is the king of the underworld but he is no evil like Satan. He is just governing the underworld like a normal king govern a country.
My all time fav is Sleeping Beauty . Hee...hee...I watch it over and over (even I'm adult now), still not getting bored
Wish they can do it as a movie, just like "Ever after" (modern Cinderella) .
Anyway, all of Disney cartoon about Prince and Princess are my fav: Cinderella, the Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast.
Cinderella- because I'm an old time romantic
Next would be Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, than Lion King
Beauty and the Beast.
Spring Summer Autumn Winter.
Pair ducks nest fly together.
Clemencies. Summer life, feather winter white.
Green meadow in spring, before the autumn bite.
Watching the red gown.
And none else, alone.
Mulan, Lion King

I loved Aladdin, gotta love Robin William's genie ^^
The Lion King and Little Mermaid came in close though. Hated Mulan, absolutely hated it.

yeah, i never understood why disney felt the need to hire an asian actress to do the voice of mulan when she speaks perfect english anyways. and i did not appreciate the slanted eyes, and the oversimplify of asian traditions and culture. i guess they had good intentions and wanted to provide a contrast to the pretty girl, prince saves her bit.

I don't understand why people make such a big deal of Mulan's slanted eyes. It doesn't bother me. I mean in animation/cartoon they tend too exaggerate the whole thing..the expression, characters, huge eyes, big nose, tiny waist, fat people, short people. What's wrong with small eyes and slanted eyes anyway, I think they can be as attractive as big eyes too.
I quite like Mulan, especially the little dragon, Mushu. But animation is not as good as Alladin or tarzan.
I am going to hug you and love you and lock you in a cage
The thing is, if they made her eyes just like the other Disney gals such as Ariel or Belle, but with black hair, then I'm sure there would be some Asian people complaining about that as well("Oh, she's supposed to be Chinese???", or "What, Asian eyes aren't good enough for a Disney movie, so they have to be Westernized?", etc, etc.) I do agree with you about the voice deal, though.Originally posted by pemberly
