I'm re-watching The Ching Emperor, he used to be so adorable!
The little boy who played Chi Lam's role looks so much like him.

Cool, a study abroad trip! Where will you be going?

I'm interning this summer and time has just been flying by. I'll miss the relaxing weekends once school starts, though.

LOL, I agree with Lady Zhuge, he is still a cutie.

I totally agree with you about the little boy, they look so much alike. Maybe I remember wrong but isn't he the same little boy who played the little Guo Jing in LOCH?

I will be going to Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Have you been there before? Theres only three weeks left until I leave, I'm so excited.

What sort of interning are you doing? Sounds like interning has kept you busy but it's good that you were able to get some time on the weekends to relax.

I still remember how cute he was back then...I got to admit I was crazy for him his face. Yeah he is still looking CUTE though!
Oh yeah I was thinking the same thing about the little boy in LOCH, the one with Felix Wong and ROTCH in the 1980s.
I will take out my tapes later today to find out if they are the same person. That little boy looks just like Chi Lam...He must be in his 20s now and I wonder if he looks as cute as Chi Lam????

Even though Noel is a few years older than Julian, I still think they look compatible. They looked good together in "The Ching E mperor." I don't think Noel has aged that much. Despite her more plump face, she still looks young for her age. I thought Noel's husband, Gary Chan Ka Fai, was from Hong Kong, not China?
Botan u just spoke out what I was thinking in my head. Noel is like about 2 years older than him (correct me if I'm wrong) , not like 10 years older but she really looks young for her age. As a matter of fact many of her co-stars are younger than her. As I'm re-watchinf The Ching Empire I really wanna to see them again in another series....I'm amazed of his singing...cant believe he sung the themesong so GOOOODDD!

No, I've never been to Taiwan before, but I'd like to go someday. How long will you be there?

I'm interning at different outpatient pharmacies this summer, learning about the different roles of pharmacy technicians and pharmacists as well as doing various projects.

It's a movie that Julian is filming called "Lu Xing Zhe" ( 天行者 ). He's mainly filming Mainland productions now, but he might still do some TVB series once in awhile. His last TVB series was Shades of Truth.

I still like him as "Cho Gor Gor" best in ROTC : ) although I didnt really enjoy the series that much - he was so young cute and baby faced back then : p I liked Shades of Truth too. Hahaa he's also such a comedian! He was so cute and funny in Super Trio with Myolie, Joe Ma, Ella Koon, etc.

Oh, I meant the boy in LOCH 94, the version with Julian in it. I've wondered about what that little boy looks like now too. Wonder if he is still acting.

Yes, he is quite a talented singer. I really like his singing. Too bad he doesn't sing that often anymore.

I haven't been there before either so I have no idea what to expect. Hope it's going to be okay. I will be staying there for a whole year.

That sounds really interesting. Something I'd really like to do but there doesn't seem to be any pharmacy type internships for undergrads. How do you like the internship so far?

I really really would LOVE to see Noel Leung Siu Bing and Chi Lam together again. They were so CUTE in TCEmpire! I'm also re-watching The Mystery of The Condor Heroes, and I've also questioned why a cute guy like Chi Lam had to pair up with this woman that I DONT think she is evern pretty! sorry to be mean but don't you think she looks like his older sis or even his mother..

I was reading somewhere that Chi Lam has a series with Bobby, Kenix and Annie Man...Do you know if that's a modern series ???Isn't that old or new?????
By the way, Chi Lam's birthday is almost coming up! Isn't it on

Yep theres a series Chi Lam is cast with Bobby, Kenix and Annie. It's an old series back around 2002- the series is called "Take My Word For It".

The Police Negotiations Cadre (PNC) is a voluntary section within the Hong Kong Police which is called out on cases requiring the skills of specialists who are trained in the art of persuasion and negotiation to try and resolve sensitive situations where a more subtle approach is advantageous over force and violence. This series centres on four particular members of this team and their encounters.

You could read the review of it in the 2002 Spcnet.tv reviews section.

I'm in my second to last week of the internship and it's been a good learning experience for the most part. Being paid to learn is so much better than paying to learn (as in school).

Have a great time in Taiwan and update us once in awhile on how you like it there!

Yup, Julian and Noel were really cute but I wished that their relationship was develped more, it seemed kind of rushed. LOL, the actress in Mystery of the Condor Heroes is Emily Kwan (I think that's her name). I thought she looked older than Julian too.

Take My Word For It is an okay series to watch. Something you can watch to pass time. I actually only watched that series because of Julian and Annie. I thought they looked so cute together but too bad their relationship in the series wasn't developed well.

I guess his B-day is coming soon. I actually can't remember when his birthday is.

LOL, I know what you mean, getting paid to learn is better than paying to learn. Sounds like your internship was a wonderful and valuable experience.

Thank you, I sure will update you guys about Taiwan.

I know right? They really rushed through the ending. The ending could be way better like they could show the scene they were getting married and lots more...
What was your favorite scene ?????(hard huh? I sure think so..I can't think of it now.) )I loved & enjoyed all the scenes Chi Lam and Noel were together. Oh and since she played two diff roles, which character did u think look more cute with Chi Lam in the series???

I watched The Mystery of the Condor Heroes b/c of Chi Lam and Fiona Leung. My gosh I couldnt believe why they put him with an ugly old woman. (sorry but my goodness Chi Lam looks so cute!

Yeah his birthday is coming up soon. He is turning 35!

Hmm, my favorite scene? I'm not sure. I watched this series a while ago so my memory about it is kind of vague. I just remember that I enjoyed most of the scenes with Julian and Noel. There were probably some sad/touching scenes in there that I liked but can't remember them at the moment. Hmm, I think both characters that Noel played matched with Julian well. How about you?

I agree, Julian and the actress in MOCH didn't really look compatible but I thought that she fit the role very well though. Maybe they should have casted another actor with her instead of Julian.

Didn't realize he was turning 35. He still looks quite young for his age.

oh...speaking of the ching emperer...noel and julian quickly became my second favorite couple of that generation (first being noel and louis koo - i can't help it, noel and louis had a better storyline in against the blade of honor).

it would have been cooler if julian could have gotten together with the first twin (the princess) since i liked their interaction and julian sort of replace her with the second twin. i was sooooo broken hearted when noel left the kingdom to marry her husband to protect the kingdom (but darn...at least noel got together with derek kwok who finally gets a nice guy role). and i was mad even though julian hooks up with noel (twin 2) in the end because i felt that his heart has always belonged to the first twin just like the first twin never got over him...i know it would have been wrong for them to be together given the circumstances but i never felt that julian's love towards the second twin was real. seems more like he used her as a substitute even though he denies it. and the first twin was much cuter...i liked how noel was unaware of her own feelings for julian and how they both grew up together and love each other. sigh...i'm going off tangent.

but i wish julian and anita well! good luck to a safe and nausea free pregnancy anita! julian will be a great dad...their child's sooo going to be good looking.
