She's Anita Yuen (Yuan Yong Yi). Yeah, they were in The New Judge together back in 2002-2003.

It's been a while since I've been here, kind of lost on what he's been up too. Is he still filming that movie or is he working on a different project now?

Yeah, LXF still isn't out yet. I assume that since Mainland series tend to be longer in length, they take record times to be released. Another serial I've been waiting for is Da Tang Fu Rong Yuan as it's been over a year now since it finished filming.

Yeah, I thought the two cities were quite different. Kaohsiung is more polluted and more hot and humid (which I think makes city very unlivable). The Taiwanese dialect is spoken more in KH. I don't know how to explain it but the culture for both cities seem different as well. KH is more disorganized and less maintained. There are also less foreigners there, it's especially rare to see any Asian Americans. I think KH is a very boring and depressing city. It's supposedly Taiwan's second major city but there isn't much going on, there isn't much to do down there, and there isn't much to see. Living there made me feel kind of isolated from everything.

Taipei on the other hand, is a bigger city, it is a little cleaner, slightly less polluted, and the weather is cooler. There is more to eat in Taipei, they have a wide variety of cuisines and its easier to find a nice clean restaurant. Definitely more shopping as well. More things seem to be going on there, especially entertainment stuff, like award shows, concerts, album/movie promo events, etc. (it's quite easy to get to see your fav singer/actor, one of the few things I will miss about Taiwan). There are more differences but that's all I can remember for now, plus, the list would get even longer. And, some things are just hard to explain, you would have to be there to experience it.

Besides Lu Xiao Feng, I'm currently watching Haken no Hinkaku, Boku dake no Madonna, and Love Revolution. I'm also finishing up Feng Shen Bang and planning to start the new Bi Xue Jian soon.

If you like mysteries and don't mind quirky humor, I also recommend Trick 1, 2, and 3.

Nope, I don't think he was ever a miscast for any role. I used to be skeptical about him playing Guo Jing a long time ago but I changed my mind after seeing him in Mystery of the Condor Heroes and Palm of Rulai where he played some what of a similar character in both series.

Going abroad last quarter has put me a bit behind schedule (although it was definitely a worthwhile experience) but hopefully, I'll be done with my undergrad. degree by spring '08.

I haven't seen Meteor Garden, so that didn't affect my opinion on HYD. I really don't know why I didn't continue it, something about it didn't appeal to me. Thank you for all the recommendations. Anita Yuen was a guest at a children's charity event yesterday. Since giving birth to her son, Anita has become easily emotional. At the event, when she witnessed a mother holding her autistic child, Anita had the urge to cry. As a mother, Anita had empathy for children with illnesses.

"Since becoming a mother, many things easily make me cry now. At first, when my son cried, I will cry along with him. But the doctor said that it was normal for babies to cry, unless it exceeds 15 minutes in duration."



When Anita was pregnant with Morton, she had played numerous Disney songs for him to listen. The 4 month-old Morton now moves his arms and legs excitedly whenever he hears the songs.

"Everyone knows how bad my singing skills are. But music is a great way to teach children; Morton can listen quietly for 45 minutes. Now I am like his personal DJ, constantly spinning different tracks for him! My father's car is equipped with a mini-television, so that Morton can watch TV when he rides."



Earlier, Anita went on a 5 day hiking trip with husband, Chilam Cheung while carrying her 13 pound baby son. No wonder it was obvious that Anita's post-pregnancy weight was all gone!

Did Chilam help out in taking care of baby Morton? "Of course Chilam didn't! He carried his backpack and walked carefreely, while I was hiking at a turtle's pace behind him!"

Although many friends advised that Anita should not take her newborn son to Nepal, she did not want her baby to visit luxury-filled countries such as Japan. Anita wanted Morton to visit a poor country and hope that from an early age, he would share with others whenever there is personal excess.

When Morton was born, Anita already started donating to charities in his name. Anita also donated the lucky packets which were given to Morton this Lunar New Year. When she receives the thank-you letters from charities each month, Anita feels truly happy.

Anita hopes to visit her grandmother in Australia on their next family trip. But they may have to wait until Morton is 2-3 years old first.




Before appearing at the event yesterday, Anita and Chilam grabbed a bite to eat at the hotel first. Although Lam Chi Cheung and Alex To Tak Wai were also spotted at the hotel and the artists were full of smiles, they refused to be interviewed by the press.

Chilam Cheung: "Anita Yeun Turned Out to Be a Surprisingly Good Mother"

Chilam Cheung and Kenix Kwok's new series, "Red Powder" 《红粉》is currently being broadcast in China. Chilam appeared at a press conference with other cast members yesterday and cleared rumors that wife, Anita Yuen Wing Yee has been suffering post-pregnancy depression. Chilam also revealed that Anita will be returning to work next month to film a commercial.

Chilam was also delightedly surprised by the 360 degree change in Anita's personality after she became a mother. "She is completely different than before. After becoming a mother, Anita is more gentle and patient. She takes great care of our son, Morton! Her deep involvement in child care gave me a shock!"

After becoming a father in November 2006, Chilam quickly resumed working after taking a short break. Chilam said, "Although taking care of our son is important, but earning money for the family is just as critical."

Compared with the optimistic and detail-oriented Anita, Chilam admitted that he did not fulfill his father role to the best of his ability. "I need to become more mature. But if a man were to take care of a baby at home all day, he will collapse."

Chilam admitted that when he is idle around the house, he would only change diapers and not help out with other chores. However when it comes to matters concerning his son, he will consent with Anita's wishes.
