What do I need to do to change my nick ?

Well I'm bored with this nick... what do I need to do to change it ? Kill someone for SPCNET ? Give SPCNET my first born ? Say "Dubya is my idol" 1000 times ? Watch HSDS 2000 backwards ?

P.S: I know I know I can create a new account, but I don't want to spam 500 posts to be allowed to change my avatar (can that rule be changed too ?)

Since this is a forum where usually the posts are TO the admin and mods (as said in forum description)......I'll try to answer your query.

1. Only SC can change your username or give you a real answer to that.

2. I don't think you need to have 500 posts to have your own avatar, you can always go to User CP and go to Edit Options scroll down to the very bottom and clickon change avatar and upload your own avatar but the size limit is 72x72.

That 500 post to get your own avatar does not apply anymore.

The 500 post does still apply. Maybe I'll lower it to 200 or something in the future.

As to what you have to do to change your username... you gave me some good ideas Triste.. How about donating your soul to us?

Just PM me what you want to change it to (if you really, really want to change it) but let's not turn this into a trend everyone else.

Isn't nicknames be given to them by their peers?

I think we should all vote on each other nicknames, I know this would be a lot of work but at least give you an idea how the boards think of you

For most of us, our parents gave us our formal names. If our nicknames are also given by others, wouldn't you feel rather out of control for your most basic feature?

Why do people wanna change for? I think having 1 name is hard enough to keep up with... I used to be called Sailor V, Misao Ohgami, Lady Une... & recently Polaris... PLAH! Just Lisa is find... geez...

Lisa thinks you should think really carefully before making this move... I mean you can't revert back after you sell your soul to Spcnet. *lol*

Well what if your peeps never gave you a nick name? I always give myself nicknames... my peeps just called me Lisa. However after all those nicks, it just goes back to just plain Lisa.
