Sorry guys. I've been swamped lately. Have to work this Sunday again. There are lots of news about Jimmy. He made a public appearance today in Taipei at the opening ceremony of his new company. Yes, he is investing in Krono Swiss, a floor tile company http://www.kronoswiss.tw/ . It imports and sells the Swiss tiles. There are some pics here

In the interview he said he plans to accept more work (tv series?) in Taiwan to be close to his family. He is working on a new album (yeah right) and hope to hold a concert in Taipei. Kimi is 3 and loves to dance with dad. Jimmy doesn't want him to go into showbiz though.

　林志穎是一個一旦有了夢想就會努力去實現的人，「夢想如果只是一個妄想，不付出行動的話，會 很無趣的。」

　出道20年來，林志穎將夢想一一實現，所以他更應該叫「夢想實現家」。

　1992年林志穎以歌手身分出道，憑藉《十七歲的雨季》在台灣歌壇站穩腳跟，兩年內迅速占亞洲市場，並透 過出演《旋風小子》、《一屋鬼哨牙》等影片在電影界一展身手。

　退伍後的林志穎，開始發展職業賽車手、企業家多種身分，他是台灣第一個拉力賽和場地賽都跑的帶薪職業賽車 手，他的企業專案包括林志穎車隊、新網科技公司、6000cc網購、車行、平坐賽車諮詢公司、夢饗家餐廳。 今年9月，他又與好友投資起了綠色建材。

　當夢想家需要精力充沛，林志穎的祕訣是興趣。

　就拿賽車來說，當賽車手是他自小就有的願望。雖然陰差陽錯地被星探挖出，走上演藝道路，但林志穎從未放下 那份「最初的夢想」，甚至有時忘了拍戲、 出唱片，以至林爸爸會不時提醒他，「應該把精力放在演戲唱歌上，不要一直玩車。」

　有人曾猜測林志穎玩賽車是在玩票，玩噱頭，林志穎表示，「我是認真的。」結果，他用「台灣第一位授薪職業 賽車手」的頭銜證明了自己。

　林志穎說：「一旦有自己的興趣，我就會把它研究透徹，然後就會變得很專業。慢慢地大家就問我為什麼不去開 一個公司和大家分享呢？」所以後來他自己組車隊，開賽車公司，教很多人一起賽車，培養很多的選手，其實都是 從很單純的一個興趣到和大家分享的過程。

　2008年林志穎與交往5年的台灣模特陳若儀訂婚，第2年，在他35歲生日會上宣布當爸爸。

　一提到兒子「小小志」，他就喜笑顏開，透露兒子繼承了自己的賽車天賦，連睡覺時也緊緊地抓著 玩具汽車。

　「小小志」已成為林志穎前進的動力，因為他想讓「小小志」能有更好的榜樣，讓他看到爸爸的努力，懂事後也 能好好努力向上。

　但林志穎也感歎，成家之後才發現家庭和事業很難兼顧，自己拍戲常常好幾個月不回家，唱片宣傳也要跑遍很多 城市，「跟家人在一起的時間真的好少，以至於錯過了兒子的很多第一次，第一次會爬、第一次會說話都沒有看到 。」

　如今「小小志」已滿3歲，會不會想再生一個？林志穎說：「老實說還滿想的！想讓他有個伴。如果再生，我可 能會在家庭和事業中選擇家庭，甚至不排除退出演藝圈。」

　林志穎曾表示，他最想把工作重心移回台灣，「多拍點戲給兒子看」，並兼顧家庭。這可能也是事業成功的林志 穎最樸素的夢想。
