Why do stars have to deny that they're in a relationship when it's obvious they are! I can see how friends will meet each other and have dinner or something but she was peeling shrimp for him. I mean sorry, he's a grown man and can peel his own shrimp, okay? The reason any woman would peel a shrimp for a grown man who doesn't have any arm or hand injury may as well be that she's taking care of him as someone closer than a friend. In this day and age, they shouldn't be hiding their relationship. Just let it out. People date and if it doesn't work they seperate, if it does they get married. But what bugs the hell out of me is, even when presented with evidence of their 'date', they still deny it. I lose respect for people who don't take responsibility for their own actions, especially for a celeb whose looked up to as a role model. They're teaching people that yeah, you can spend a night with a girl, have them peel shrimp for you in the public but as long as you deny it, you're not responsible for them, as long as you deny that she's your girlfriend, it's okay to do it.

I completely agree with you and Trinie. I'm glad that I'm not the only fan who appears to be over sensitive about this issue.

Jimmy is losing my respect as he continues to deny this relationship and even portrays innocence when it's far from being an honest deed. Anyway, I'm not too surprised, it took Jimmy 10 whole years to finally lift the weight off Ruby for telling the truth, it wouldn't be strange at all if Jimmy finally admits this relationship with Kelly on his wedding day.

Personally, it's a bit disappointing. But perhaps like other fans, Jimmy is just 'protecting' his privacy.

Eh, i never held him to such a high standard as to lose respect for him when he denies being with a girl he is obviously with. I keep thinking to myself if i was in his or his girl's situation... i mean should i tell the public so then they can egg me with more questions on my relationship that i treasure privately or should i just flat out keep denying so they can't really probe me too much. Besides it is my life, can't i just keep one thing to myself despite being a public figure?

The media spins so much these days at least if they keep speculating about a relationship, thats all they can pretty much do. Once the relationship is out, they must dwell deeper cause they are nosey like that, and then start speculating marriages and fights to "are they over now?". Also there is the manager and producers/whatever around him who give their influences...

I'm thinking for him, its the lesser of what he deems two evils. Besides once the other party admits it, he doesn't keep denying it like that. I'll keep my respect for him cause he does have a big heart and does a lot of humanitarian things. I would also say he has a kind face that reflects his insides, but how do i know, he's a complete stranger and probably beats his girlfriend or something. i dunno.

also this is random but does anyone know where i can find possible synopses for jimmy dramas? I'm watching one of the twins dramas and i have the romantic swordsman but i didn't realize there would be so much talking that i would possibly need a guide in helping know what's going on.

If not, i guess i'm good at guessing situations.. ^_^??

Finally someone agrees with me. I don't hold him to a higher or lower standard to lose respect for him either. I separate his private and public lives. What i see in public is good enough. Why r we so hung up with his private life. As a public figure does he owe us an explanation as to who he is dating. If they both like to play this denying game so be it. Once he admits this is his gf the tabloid will dig into every details. "Is he cheating on her?" "She is getting too close to another guy." and so on and so forth until they break up. As my ma says, "The man isn't married. The girl isn't married. What's the big deal."

I think we have beaten this horse to death. We all have our own opinion as to what he should or shouldn't be doing. Let's move on to the fun stuff like the new series he is in now, The Lucky Star.

From what i heard jimmy indeed has a big heart. Most ppl who have met him all have good things to say about him. and he's nice to his fans, not standoffish.

I remember i read them before i got the series. Overall, it's ok, kind of dragging in the middle. The beginning and end are good. Jimmy is cool as the swordsman and very handsome. He was injured during filming of this series.

ah thanks i'll be searching for it now. I think i did hear something about that while backtracking on this forum.. or was it at some other fansite? Is this the one where he was also doing monkey king? Or was it another drama? Nevermind i should be smart about and just look up timelines with wikipedia and jimmy.. ::knocks herself in head::

I like Liu San Bian more than Lu Xiao Feng. The costums and hair in LXF are just so weird. Jimmy's voice is dubbed too. He looks so cool in Liu San Bian dressed all in white. A very sad story though.

Hmm, which Legendary Siblings drama are you watching? I'm assuming that's what you meant by "twins." If you're watching, LS2 (Jue Shi Shuang Jiao) with Tae, you can go to Janice's Jimmy site and the get the synopses at this specific link. She only has the summary for LS1 (Jue Dai Shuang Jiao) here as opposed to a synopsis for each episode. Since it seems like she has stopped updating her site, there's only an information link to Shu Jian Qing Xia Liu San Bian's main website.

It has been confirmed that Jimmy will participate in the China Rally Race from june 15, 07 to june 17, 07 in Beijing. i think filming of My Lucky Star will wrap up before that. don't know which team he will race for: Jimmy Lin Rally team or Man Yu team.

last yr Man Yu has 3 rally teams participating in the Rally races. Jimmy Lin Rally Team was one of them. so i don't know if there will be a Jimmy Lin Rally team this yr or if he will just race for the other 2 Man Yu teams. will find out in june.

Thanks for the aid. I had been watching the first twin drama with jimmy and alec, Jimmy talked so much to himself in that drama i always wanted to know what he was saying to himself all the time. all in all, I just need to make friends with people who speak mandarin.

Sure, no problem. But i know what you mean. It's always nice to have some Mandarin connections. Anyway, i actually watched both LS1 and LS2 dubbed. But still, the language that i understand the best would be English. Well, when you watch LS2, the synopsis site i listed above should be helpful. Or you could always download the English subbed version of LS2. I actually downloaded that version but haven't gotten around to it since i've already watched it dubbed.

I watched the subbed vers. of LS2 and thought it was good until it got too messy for my taste. I wish they got like five more episodes to finish it more smoothly.

btw i really loved it when Jimmy bickered with that girl he loved the most... and that one scene where he was thinking hard and she was feeding him peanuts like nothing.

I don't quite remember that scene. You're talking about the girl who died, right? I don't remember LS2 as well as i do LS1. LS2 was definitely quite messy with the plot. The quality was also quite lacking in that you could still see the wires as they were flying through the air. I don't think i've ever seen a goof-up that obvious before. It happened several times throughout the series too.

oh i forgot about that girl who died.. i guess he loved her the most didn't he? I was talking about the second girl he fell for. Their moments in the first half of the series was so adorable, almost as cute as his scenes with the turtle when she left. I had trouble understanding how they got back together since they needed some sort of divine intervention..>_>

But yeah, LS1 is def the better one in my eyes, even though it was just raw for me. I think because it was funnier and I really liked Jimmy's character the best in that one. The second character seems to be like a diluted version of the first one in my eyes. Too bad it seems just too old now for any subbing group to pick up. T_T, i'm going to attempt a read of the translated wuxia it's based off of in my attempts too see how cunning Xiao Yu'er really was in his dialogue.
