My Lucky Star, which was the #1 idol series in Taiwan for several weeks, started airing in China on Monday. It was supported by a lot of young female viewers. Jimmy Lin, the male lead has been hot in China since he was 17. His baby-face hasn’t changed a bit and it brought back a lot of memories for the 80's female viewers.

He was interviewed by our reporter yesterday while he was in Beijing negotiating a record deal. He was very happy about the raving results from his first idol series. He said he will have hot bed scenes with Yoo HaNa and he has no bottom lines for hot scenes. But for his personal love life, the 30+ Jimmy insisted that he has no girl friend.

My Lucky Star was advertised as Jimmy’s first bed scene. He sacrificed the most since he never bared any skins in movies or series. “This is the first time I have so many love scenes and kissing scenes. It’s not with just Yoo HaNa, but also with Hong Xiao Ling. There will be more bed scenes in the series.” He was a little embarrassed when we talked about the bottom line for baring skins. “There are no bottom lines.” (Will he be as bold as Tony Leung in <色，戒?>” “He is scarifying for Art. I am proud of him.” So he meant that he’d do the same if there is a need? Then he said he was looking forward to <色，戒?>.

He was the dream lover for a lot of young girls. Many grew up with his “The Rainy Season of 17”. The 33 year old Jimmy doesn’t look any different from the time when he was 17. As for staying young, he said “You must have a happy healthy mindset. This is what I learned from Xiao Yu’er when I was filming “The Legendary Brothers”. No matter whether you like what you are doing or not, just turn it into a happy ordeal.”

He only admitted to having a relationship with Ruby Lin. He was photographed in May with the model Kelly Chen in Shanghai. Then they were photographed again in Taiwan feeding each other in a restaurant. As for his love life he said “I think I will just let it easy.” (Do you have a girl friend?) He said, “No, I’ll let everyone know if I have one.” (What about the one who fed you?) “She is just a good friend.”

In My Lucky Star, he was betrayed by her girlfriend. What’d he do if it happens in real life? “I will let go like Zhong Tian Qi. I will do what I want to do and continue to live better for her to see.” What type of girl does he like: Yoo HaNa or Hong Xiao Ling? He said, “Xia Zhi Xing by Yoo HaNa is more interesting.”

Jimmy is one of those rare savvy businessmen in showbiz. Taiwan media reported that he invested in real estates and restaurants. His net worth is more than $100M and acting is just a hobby for him. “That reporter made it up. Acting is not just a hobby. I need the pressure and hard work to keep me going. It’s also a responsibility. More good works for my fans.”

But under my questioning he revealed that he has 5 cars. The most expensive one is a RMB3M Ferrari. He also has a 600cc 的奔驰小车and a Hummer. He will open a second restaurant in Shanghai. The theme of the Dream Family Café is love. The décor is very dreamy. Patrons will feel like they are dining in a dream.

Wonder what happened to Relive. haven't heard from her in a while. then she introduced me to AF. Relive and I followed My lucky Star when it was first announced in Nov 2006. It was fun following its filming news from the very beginning and saw it finally aired with such success. Jimmy said he will do another modern series. Hope we don't have to wait too long for news on it. He'll also open a new restaurant in Shanghai and his next rally race is in November in china. That's all the news i have so far. will keep u guys posted.

He doesn't seem to have much time for racing this year. He was in only one rally race and one race at the ZhuHai Speedway this yr. His ranking will definitely drop. but i suppose he's putting all his energy back in showbiz this yr.
