yes, there's only one song in that album. i don't know why. that's how i dl'ed it. I just listened to it. the music is Expect, the lyrics are Wo Ren Rang Shi wo in cantonese. it took me a while to figure out he is singing in cantonese. LOL. he sounds so funny with a heavy mandarin accent.

i don't know much about this album. his older albums are no longer for sale.

BTW, lovelycat279 and crystal88, u r welcome. I met some ppl online who think that since they sit behind a screen they can insult ppl. It only took me 1.5 yrs to collect all these videos from jimmy's 2 official sites in taiwan and china. i am also a fairly new jimmy fan. most of the videos have been posted here b4 or in the MLS forum but the links have all expired.

a lot of the movies he made when he was young are trashy, but i highly recommend Grandpa's Love. U can still buy the VCD on yesasia. It's also on tudou. It's his best work before he went into the army. It's a major tearjerker, very very sad.

Top 10 Taiwan idols on TTV news. to be embarrassment of the organizor none of the 10 actors who won showed up at the award ceremony on 11/24/07 and the event was cancelled.

the news clip didn't say anything about the cancellation. i read it in an news article at www.crazyintw.com.

ppl doubted the outcome of the online poll b/c Wu Chun is only #7 and other hot idols like Mike He, Ming Dao, Rainie, Joe Cheng, and Ariel are not even on the list. fans doubted the legitimatcy of the poll b/c it's sponsored by 華視 (CTS) and Sam Wang has a series airing on it now. Sam wang is #3 on the list. fans think that the whole thing is rigged. at the beginning of the poll it was obvious that the votes increased too dramatically for some actors. it was like 10s of 1000s of votes overnight. at one point, no one has heard of the actress 張鈞甯, who was #2 on the list. then CTS intervened and lopped off thousands of illegitimate votes. i suppose the winners didn't want anything to do with this award.

i think it's the fault of the orgainzer who should have come up with a better fool-proved way of voting so there were less cheating.

it just talked about the top 5 (jimmy included) and said the idol series craze is still going strong. the news clip is from TTV so of course it showed some scenes from MLS.

According to what I've read, listening to the song "Dui Wang" helped the boy to regain consciousness. Jimmy also went to the hospital to visit the boy and encouraged him to get well. He was crying in the screenshots

Their Grandpa (Long Hun of Eat Drink Man Woman) takes them in, but seems to favor young Kang over Jian. Embittered, Jian feels that Grandpa doesn't understand him, but resolves to be a better role model for Kang. But circumstances and situations get away from them, and despite the best of intentions, Jian is always blamed for Kang's trouble. Already alone and suffering after his parents' death, what will Jian do without the love of his grandfather too? Chiu Yen Ping brings touching situations and heartrending melodrama to Grandpa's Love, a family drama about the developing trust and affection between a grandfather and the grandchildren suddenly thrust upon him.

more news clips from CTS about the 2007 top 10 idols. CTS is the sponsor of this online poll and Sam Wang is the spokesperson so u see the controversy. Sam Wang is in the video advertising this event when polling started. at least they showed 2 pics of jimmy.

just to add to limsy's excellent sypnosis. The grandpa is old fashioned and the grandson is your typical quiet teenager who hides all his emotions. He appears to be strong and not touched by his parents' sudden death but he is sufferng inside, misses his mother and longs for his grandpa's affection. But the grandpa doesn't understand him and thinks that he is rebellious and is a bad influence to the younger Kang, who needs to be protected. Kang keeps getting Jian into trouble and Jian gets blamed and punished. Just when grandpa and Jian finally warmed up to each other Jian made one more stupid mistake and Grandpa've had enough and decided to send Jian to boarding school. The ending is very very sad. I am not sure if you want me to give it away.

jimmy was still in his teens when he played the 17 yr old Jian. the role fitted him really well and he put in a spectacular performance, especially in the crying scenes.
