I think jimmy is not ready for a wife yet. He still is a kid at heart. Did you ever see the light in his eyes when he talks about his dreams. In those moment he looks like a innocent and pure child who is dreaming to become policeman or firefighter. I think he needs to enjoy life first before it's time for him to settle down. He has never been doing anythingelse becsie working like crazy. Poor him. On the ruby issue. I don't think that she is that bad, but their story is is the past. When they are gone, they are gone. Don't need to hold on to it.

i think he's the type who can't stop for a moment, always has to be occupied. he does go on vacation. he loves beaches. on www.jimmylin.cc there r sone pics of him at the beach. he's taking lessons to get a yacht operator's license and will buy a yacht so he can travel around on vacation.
he keeps his private life very private. it's hard to say if he's dating someone now or not. i think he'll get married. his dad is so eager to marry him off.

he was such an adorable baby. he said in interviews that he was always mistaken for a girl when he was a kid and was stopped from using the men's room. by the time he was in 5th grade he got so mad and shaved his head.

on the contrary lots of jimmy fans like ruby and vice versa and want them back together. there's even a site dedicated to JR Love.

there r so many rumors around about their breakup. don't know which 1 is true. of course there r 2 camps: 1 on ruby side and 1 on jimmy's side. some said she flirted with alec su when they were filming Pearl Princess and dated him behind jimmy's back. jimmy found out and called it off. some blamed jimmy for breaking ruby's heart. she cried her eyes out after the breakup. he denied he ever dated her b/c he didn't want his personal life to be frontpage news. but ruby's fans called him deceitful. that was the low-point in his life in 1998. his career was at a standstill. he broke 3 bones in his foot in a race and he broke up with his gf.

in the Kang Yong show that they both went on in 2006 he said they just drifted apart b/c of the distance. but u could tell ruby didn't like/support his love of cars/racing. she even ridiculed his motocycle which he adores. he was quite embarrassed and just kept smiling. he didn't say much on the show and left all the talking to her. she leaked many tidbits about their relationship. she said she had riden in his red Ferrari and we know that he bought the Ferrari when he was 23. so they had been together for at least 3 yrs since they filmed School Days together when he was 20. he was obviously very uncomfortable on the show and just laughed to hide his embarrassment.

i think there is truth to all of the above. he put his cars in front of her. they were young and quarreled. she started dating other men and the long distance eventually took its toll. he didn't date anyone seriously after ruby.

anyway, it's over between them and she has Stanley Tong and he has ??? it's hard to go back. let bygones be bygones. he needs someone who supports his love of cars/racing, tolerates his busy schedule and stays behind the scenes to take care of him and their kids.

OMG. I didn’t mean to dl pirvated song, especially jimmy’s. I have deleted the Green Tea song from mediafire. Please don’t share it if you have a copy. I just read this news on jimmy’s official site. The copy of the song is pirvated and illegally ul’ed to the ringtone site for profit. Jimmy is going to sue the site.

Jimmy Lin, David Tao, and Vic Zhou are the spokesmen for a famous soft drink in china. Jimmy will endorse the Iced Green Tea. The commercial was filmed a few days ago in Hong Kong. In the commercial, Jimmy will become a pro racer to go with the product’s cool image.

Jimmy spent his own money and hired the award winning special effects director of 'Inital D', 黄宏显 and a renowed New York musican Keith to write the song 《胜利的滋味》and 崔恕 to write the lyrics. The style is rock and roll and the song will be in his new EP that will be released next month.

However, the commercial hasn’t even aired and the song has already been listed on a ringtone site for illegal download and the version is even the Demo copy. Jimmy thought it was leaked from the studio and has asked lawyers to sue the site for copyright violations.

His manager Grace said indignantly yesterday, “Pirvacy is a serious matter. The song has not even been finished. We know it has to be leaked from the studio. We have traced the source to a Fujian ringtone dlownload site. Our lawyer has sent them a copyright violations letter and we plan to sue for punitive damages.”

Grace admitted that it’s not easy to fight pirvacy but to protect copyrights they have to take this seriously. “First, we have to ask them to remove the song. Then we ask for reparation.” The Guangzhou ISP that provides the service for the ringtone site said yesterday “We will wait for the lawyer’s letter first. We’ll notify the ringtone company.”

Jimmy has been working hard in China these years and have lots of fans. Illicit sites find it lucrative to pirvate his songs. Recently, when the softdrink posters were still being printed they were stolen by the workers and sold illegally. Fans even took pirvated DVD copies of his My Lucky Star for him to sign.

「小旋風」林志穎日前接下大陸知名飲料廣告，廣告還未正式曝光，他替廣告所做的廣告歌卻先遭大陸網路業者非 法下載，林志穎質疑可能由錄音室外流，除追查源頭，並委請律師針對網路下載公司提出侵害版權訴 訟與賠償。

林志穎與陶喆、仔仔分別獲選為大陸知名飲品年度代言人，林志穎代言是綠茶冰品。廣告日前才在香港拍攝，由以 電影「不能說的‧秘密」及香港「頭文字D」獲得金馬及香港金像獎特效獎的導演黃宏顯掌鏡。廣告片中，林志穎 化身為職業賽車手，符合產品清涼暢快之感。

為了配合他即將出版的個人EP，林志穎還專程替廣告做了一首「勝利的滋味」，自掏腰包自紐約商請知名編曲老 師Keith及著名樂評人崔恕作詞，打造全新電子音樂現代搖滾風，此曲將收錄在他下個月發行的 單曲CD中。

日前卻有大陸音樂鈴聲下載公司在未經授權的情況下，將「勝利的滋味」提供網路下載，且版本還是尚未完成的D emo樣帶。昨天林志穎的經紀人葛靜琪氣憤地表示：「我們知道盜版的情況很嚴重，但這首歌還沒完成，懷疑應 該是有人從錄音間偷流出去。」她表示，公司經由連結網址追溯到源頭，發現出自福建省鈴聲下載業者所為，已委 請律師提出侵權傷害信函，並考慮索賠。

葛靜琪坦承，在大陸追查盜版不易，但為了捍衛著作權，還是要以正視聽，她說：「第一步會要求對方撤下廣告歌 ，再來針對版權付費及賠償問題進行協商。」由於是大陸移動提供平台讓彩鈴公司下載，廣州中國移動昨天則回應 ：「一切等接到律師信後再說，會知會彩鈴公司此事。」

林志穎這幾年在大陸耕耘有成，粉絲眾多，可能非法盜版廠商認為有利可圖，這類事件也層出不窮。不久前才有他 的個人商品海報，還在印刷廠印刷，就遭工廠人員偷出販賣。連他主演的「放羊的星星」也有粉絲拿著盜版DVD 大剌剌的找他簽名。【2008/06/05 聯合報】

It has been confirmed. Jimmy will race in the TianSi Lightweight Radical Challenge on 6/21/08 and 6/22/08 at Zhuhai. He got 1st and 2nd place in the same race back in March. Yeah. we'll see him on the winner's podium in 2 weeks. good luck jimmy, You are the best!
