Jimmy got #7 among all chinese racers after saturday's race. not sure what his overall standing is among all 90 racers. He blew out one tire and wasted almost 6 mins changing tires in the middle of the race. so he dropped to #7. unfortunately his teammate Tan's car broke down and had to drop out. jimmy is now the sole racer in his team. keep our fingers crossed that he can climb to top 5 in sunday's race.

his car cost over 1Mrmb after remodeling. don't know if it's the most expensive but it's the latest model in the Mitsubishi EVO so no one at the race is familiar with the car. Speedone is still testing it to get the best results. the other teams also have very good cars too.

jimmy's car hit a rock (must be a very big rock ) during the race and blew a tire. he wated 6 mins changing tires. it's very common in rally races on gravel roads. no one's fault.

And 5th place is not bad with a multi-career person like Jimmy. But hope he'll get better result in Beijing races.
And how about that BAD guy HanHan? Did he get higher place than jimmy?

Okay. got it all figured out. jimmy got 12th place overall (among 87 racers) and 7th among chinese racers in the N4 division (International). He earned 1 pt for his team. The winning team won with 15 pts.

Hanhan is 7th place over and 3rd chinese in the N4 division.

this vid is the short distance race on day 1 where jimmy got 5th place.
The fan posted a plea for other fans to be reasonable and not disturb jimmy during a race. it was reported that crazy fans did crazy things in order to get his autographs and pics. jimmy must be really fustrated and ignored the fans. one damaging report even called him 'cold-blooded'.

Jimmy Lin was still the center of attention in yesterday’s race. A lot of female fans gathered outside Speedone’s garage since early morning to watch him start the race. After he left the fans stood under the hot sun to wait for his return. At 11:20am he finally came back to the garage and waved to the screaming fans. Compared to the other teams’ empty garages Speedone had 8 to 9 security guards keeping the fans away. Jimmy Lin got out and took a drink. He ignored the screaming fans. Then he put back on his racing suit and cap in order to be interviewed by CCTV. At this time a young mother held up her child who called out “Uncle Xiao Zhi”. No matther how long she called “cold-blooded” Jimmy didn’t even take one look of her.
