I think this was recorded for the pormotion of his movie, WOLF. He gave the three hosts each a copy of the picture book of the movie.
The hosts said in the introduction that when a boy is "Wa Wa Lian" (babyface) when he his young, that is so cute. but when he gets old and is still babyfaced, then that's scary!
Here are some of the answers Jimmyhad to the questions and exhange of views that he had with the 3 hosts:
Being babyface
-Jimmy thinks he has always looked the same through the years and he doesn't mind now that he seems to age gracefully. Before he would try to do changes like singing songs such as "Men are easy to deceive" but then he realize that being babyfaced isn't so bad after all.
Experience on filming in China
-He filmed TLBB for about 6 months and the cast and crew was about 400 people. That was so far the biggest production he has ever seen.
-Sometimes the temperature was below zero degrees and it gets difficult to act out scenes and say his lines. Normally one would drink hot/warm water to be able to talk properly in the cold but that is not allowed since one would see smoke coming out from your mouth. Instead, you should drink cold water.
-There is great difficulty in filming ancient dramas because you get up early in the morning to have your hair done so the camera can start rolling as soon as the sun is up. You get to be hanged on strings for the flying and other stunts which is not as easy as it seems. Jimmy said that he has sustained several injuries from filming ancient dramas. He has injured his back, and had stitches on his lip and his palm. But the beauty of ancient dramas is in the stunts and most of the time he prefers to do it himself than to ask for a stuntman.
-Food is a problem for him during filming days. Sometimes, he can't eat what is served but then he has to eat or he won't have the energy to film so what he does is he eats two mouthfuls and then talks to the other people around. It's like using "talking" as viand. Later, he brings canned goods for instances when he doesn't like what is served.
-One has to bring his own chair when gong to a location to film. One time he was disguised as an old man and one of the crew came to him and told him to get off Jimmy's seat. He was laughing so hard and told the crew, "I'm Jimmy!". That meant he looked convincing as an old man.
-Jimmy mentioned that he brings almost all his gadgets and gizmos to China when filming. He said that since he will have to be away from home for a long time, might as well bring what I'd be missing. He brings his DVD player, PS2, and his computer. He usually has about 130kg baggage with him. (I don't know if he meant 130kg of excess baggage).
-The hosts, who also have experience filming in China said that the actresses in China are so friendly. They'd come knocking on your room to offer you food, or invite you to go out, etc. Therefore, it's easy to fall for the actress since they're so sweet and plus the fact that you see them everyday. Jimmy smiled and said, "Hai hao la". (Think he was avoiding the question). Then the hosts said that perhaps he may not fall for them but the girls would surely fall for him.
Experience in the Army
Jimmy was enlisted in a group which has other actors/artists as well. (He said he was in Yi Gong Duae). Anyway, the leader is usually nice when he welcomes you to the army life but as soon as you're in the field, he snaps into a monster and yells at you! He was shocked because when he enlisted in the army, he wasn't expecting superstar treatment but neither did he expect that they'd be rude at him just because he was an actor. (Remember when Jimmy enlisted in the army, he was very popular then). At times when he was tasked to host programs in the army, that was a singing contest, he was also asked to dance as back up! He was disguised as a girl but everyone , including national TV could tell who he was. He said that the cameras should have been focused on the singer but instead, it was focused on him! He had a year of "tong ku" hard life there. (I guess he transferred to another unit after a year).
