I think the result is ok, Jimmy won't be too upset about it. Racing is his dream, and as long as he can race, he is happy. We always support him no matter how the result is. Jimmy is always the winner inside our heart (haha ... how cheesy I am)

Are there any more races for Jimmy this year? Or he will concentrate on his album & concert tour? I have been waiting for his album for so long

How's everyone? I haven't had the chance to come here because I've been busy working. I see that Jimmy's 5th place in the race. That's not so bad. We all still love him. tehehe. Anyway, I got a quick question, in the drama MLS, how come there's two different covers for it? There's one with JL and Yoo hana holding the chain and the other cover is the with the main characters in it. Are there two? Which one is the actual one?

jimmy is all smiles. i guess he's happy with the 6th place cup. He won the 1st cup for the Speedone Team.

The China Rally Championship races ended in the afternoon of July 10, 2009. Jimmy Lin of Guangxi Speedone Racing Team performed steadily during the last day of racing, got 6th place among all Chinese racers, and won the 1st winner cup of the season for the team. Team captain Tan got 7th place and earned points for the team.

Jimmy raced conservatively during the day because even if he maintained his 4th place it would have been a hugh breakthrough for him in rally racing.

Unfortunately, the race didn’t go well for him. He had a minor collision in the beginning and blew a tire during a turn in the 9th segment from hitting some rocks. He lost 3 minutes changing tires and dropped to 6th place. Nothing bad happened after that and he finished the race in 6th place. Captain Tan got 7th place.

In the interview afterwards Jimmy said he was satisfied with his performance even though he couldn’t maintain the 4th place. The team’s overall operation improved. They had time to test and tune the cars before the races. He also beat his own record.

As for his showbiz career, Jimmy said that he’s planning to do a movie about racing. He has been looking for a good director and script. He hopes it will be an impressive piece of work.

(There were 82 international racers participating in the CRC Beijing races.)

He said he'll be in only 3 races this yr. The next race is in Guangzhou from 2009-08-14 to 2009-08-16. After that he has to work on the new album and the concert tour which will start in nov 2009 and end in early 2010. In one interview he said he's negotiating with the team about racing next yr. Looks like our jimmy can't leave car racing behind him. What about powerboat racing. Is he still going to do that?

Jimmy had a tight schedule. right after the CRC award ceremony on 2009-07-10 he flew to Shanghai and arrived late at nite. The next day he test drove the Radical SR3 at the Shanghai F1 Speedway during the press conf of the Radical Company. each car costs about 1M rmb. Radical, founded in 1996, is a British comany and the largest race car manufactor in the world. Pingzuo, jimmy's racing advisory company is somehow working with Radical. He was in 2 Radical races last yr in zhuhai. not quite sure of his business dealings. hope he gets to rest after this event.

i am sure jimmy is disappointed. He never made it to #4 in rally racing. it would've been a hugh breakthru for him. but that's car racing. anthing can happen and that's what make it so exciting.

BTW, remember the guy ahead of jimmy who had to drop out after the 1st day of racing. His name is Liu Cao Dong 刘曹冬. He was at 1st place before he dropped out. if he didn't he could've won the race. imagine HIS disappointment.

december_snow, well I hate being seen too. I had that feeling when I was a new one in my class. It's really hard to stand it. And if I had a wish, I'd never wish to be famous.

ANW I don't think he was too dissapointed (look at the pics when he held the cup. Of course his acting skill is very good so we can't guess what he was thinking ). I think achieving his speed indulgence is the most important thing to him. But hope he'll do better in the next race. GOODLUCK, JIMMY!

to contine our conversation. i only have 3 of his old cds from yesasia and Jimmy F1ght 2006. He's working on a new EP now.

I only have some of his old movies. watched most of them online. BTW, forgot to mention Bao Lin Deng. It's a tv series and jimmy is so cute in it. i think he was in his mid 20s. the storyline is good too. and also The Legendary Swordman Liu San Bien. The story is ok but jimmy is absolutely gorgeous in it, dressed all in white. i bought mine at yesasia but i dont see it now. it was made after the success of TLBB. he dressed like Duan Yu but LSB is a tragic char so he's more mature in it. he broke his tail bone after a flip in the air during filming and had to return to taiwan for treatment. he then finished filming under strong painkillers and worked 12 hr days against the advice of his doctors. u can tell near the end of LSB he's a mess. but that's ok since LSB is a tragic char anyway. LSB is worth a look just for his cool looks.
