Glad to see another Jimmy and Andy fan. About the being single issue, I have never heard of that and I don't think that is always true. I have heard that you cannot date within your company, but I have not heard that you need to be single in your contract. Also, Jimmy and Andy are now independent stars so they of course don't need to be tied to any contracts or companies like before. About Andy, I can understand but luckily Jimmy fans generally aren't as crazy.

It is true that a lot of us here are grown up and would understand.

I really miss seeing Jimmy's concerts and have not seen one since 1994 when he left for the army. I wish him the best and hope that this tour will be a success. How many concerts will he have??

If I remember correctly, it was SHE (taiwanese girls band) who said that they were not allow to have boyfriend, married, or even pregnant when they signed the 1st contract. It was on a TV show, long time ago. They were discussing about other artists as well. I heard that 1st Taiwanese boys band 'Little Tiger / Xiao Hu Dui ' even didn't allow to smoke & drink.

I've never been to Jimmy's concert. Maybe I should consider to go to Shanghai in Nov . From his past interviews & talk shows, I personally think that Jimmy is very good in promoting & marketing. Very curious about what's his marketing strategy for this concert tour, very low profile & secretive. Or maybe he was too busy with his rally race & some charity works? Or he doesnt want to go public anymore, just do a private concert for his devoted fans only
I hope after this rally, he will go back to Taiwan for doing charity works for typhoon & flood victims and prepare for his concert tour . 加油 Jimmy!!

OMG. jimmy's race car caught fire. The team is trying to repair it so he can return to the race tomorrow. Oil leak and the cap wasn't closed tight. Jimmy and navigator are fine. i just hope jimmy finishes the race in 1 piece.

sad to say, jimmy's race car is beyond repair. he withdrew from the race and has left Fogang. nothing went well for Speedone at Fogang. and this is jimmy's last race of the yr. i think he wanted to leave with a bang. too bad.

Racing is indeed dangerous. One experienced racer from ManYu (Jimmy former teammate in 06 and 07) raced with a EVO-10 and tumbled 40m down a bamboo hill sideway. The car was totaled. luckily the inside is well-enforced that both racer and navigator were not injured. The reporter commented that Speedone made the right decision to shelf their EVO-10 that jimmy was going to drive. or it could've been jimmy who rolled down the hill. The EVO-10 is too wide for the narrow hillside roads.

Captain Tam said that the race next month has been rescheduled to dec 09. there's a chance that jimmy will race for Speedone again in dec after his concert.

i think he's a very shrewd businessman but the shanghai grand stage only seats 10,000 people. he doesn't have to spend too much on marketing. i am just concerned that this may be his last concert tour b4 he retires and settles down. hope he'll announce his marriage and not get a quickie in Vegas.

Did you watched the past news showed Jimmy at the opening of bridal studio "CHUECH " + interview with Jimmy & Zhong Han Liang + cutting ribbon + catwalk? It was on the same TVB entertainment news, and some of the clip is the same as on youtube/tudou.

i didn't even know there was a TVBE channel on DirectTV till this weekend. i missed all that. well at least TVB is still interested in his news.

Actually, I'm a new fan of Jimmy . I didn't like him when I saw his 1st mv (the one with red suit) Hahaha.. My first impression to him was very bad, thought that this young man only know how to dance & act cute. His singing was terrible & I didnt like his smile at all, hahaha... I still remember, my mom said, very rare to find such a beautiful young man, there are lots of handsome guy, but not beautiful. And I was like.... hmmm... beautiful??? sounds a bit girly to me. At that time, I prefer Aaron than Jimmy .

I thought that he's no longer in showbiz. Until last March, I saw him in MLS on taiwan channel. I couldnt recognize him, but my mom did. She even said, wow... Jimmy still exists?? did u remember him? he's such a beautiful guy (again!). The 1st Jimmy I saw after so many years was the older Vernon Zhong in MLS. I saw him as a grown up teenage idol that struggling to survive in showbiz, after so many years, still acting in drama series?? he just couldnt make it, LOL.. (pls dont kill me, girls....).

After few episodes, I found that his acting skill is good, & older Vernon has a cool look & character. I like it! I didnt know that he still has the boyish look in MLS as younger Vernon Zhong. Until I bought the DVD & watched it from the 1st episode, I was so surprise, he's so gorgeous as young Vernon. He looks good in every angle (well, after I grown up, I always admire people that looks good in every angle.., & now I understand why my mom said he's beautiful = looks good in every angle ). How can he look so different from the younger to older Vernon Zhong? Then I started to dig out news about Jimmy. The more I learn about him, the more I admire him . Now I dont see him as a failure in his showbiz career. To me, he's a successful guy in career & life. It's not easy to make every dreams come true. But he did it!

The race in dec will be in Fuzhou Shaowu. my geog of china is poor. dont know if it's in the north or south. i remember one race in the winter of 06 was cut short b/c there were too many accidents on the icy mountain roads. the race organizer decided to cut it short b4 someone got injured really bad.

ManYu lost their brand new EVO-10. that got to hurt. a new EVO-10 cost millions of rmb after remodeling it for racing. i think another reason Speedone decided not to race with their EVO-10 is to protect their investment.

LOL. It's so sweet to read about other jimmy fans' road to fan-dom (is there such a word? ) many ppl rediscovered jimmy after MLS so i must say MLS is a hugh success. Viv1010 read my 1st post so she knew how i became a jimmy fan. i didn't know who he was b4 06. I 1st saw him in Tian Long Ba Bu and asked who's that cute guy. "Jimmy who?" LOL. i didn't know he was such a big star back then. i brought the TLBB vcds and watched it just for him. then i researched on him and read his life story. and WOW what a guy. i am impressed by his determination to pursue his dream to become a racer. even his own family didn't support him. his dad tried all means to stop him from racing. he turned to racing after he returned from 2 yrs of military service. it was the lowest pt of his life. his showbiz career was at a standstill. The media made fun of him. other racers doubted his intention and thought he did it just for publicity. netizens attacked him viciously. he was just a rich playboy with nothing better to do. every mistakes he made was amplified. he's the male version of the dumb blonde and he has to work twice as hard just to get approvals. but he did it. now even the media say he's the best racer among the stars and the only one who made it to pro racing.

now i understand why he is so low-key. after what he went thru he just doesn't want to be criticized every step of the way. i mean how many ppl know that he owns a racing team? so i am glad that TVB acknowledges his success in racing and says that other young idols r following his footsteps.

I agreed with you, Jimmy is drop dead gorgeous, especially in MLS. And as a fan gets to know Jimmy more, it's his other qualities that attracted us more than his "beautiful" face.

I don't think I can find an angle of Jimmy that is not cute! That was very supportive of Jimmy to stay until his teammate was done racing. What a sport! Go! Go! Jimmy!

It costs US$13,000 to hire jimmy to take your wedding photos. I don't know if it's expensive in china. i don't even know if it's expensive in the US. haven't look into that yet. but it's a lot of money.
