yeah. i think he didn't grow any taller since 17. must be the heavy workload that took a toll on his body during the growing yrs. i read that he worked like a robot and only got a few hrs of sleep a day from 17 to 20 till he entered the army. in fact, he was able to 'relax' during army trainings. i guess that's 1 of the reasons why he wanted a break from showbiz. he was burnt out at 20. his agent wanted to make as much $ out of him as possible. he could only sleep in the van on the way from 1 appearance to another. glad that he's his own boss now and can do whatever he wants, be it acting, singing or racing.

Hey, the picture decided to show up again! Here is our beloved Jimmy!



I do want Jimmy to get marry and experience the joy of being a husband and father, with lots of little he/she jimmy's. But, I will really miss seeing him in the news and entertainment circle. I think we fans have to have annual Jimmy celebration event of some sort if/when our Jimmy decided to retire from the public eyes.

at 25:28 jimmy waved at someone. the emcee said something to him and he looked embarrassed. what did the emcee say?
at 21:22 a girl yelled out something and everyone laughed. what did she yell?

have u watched the Live with Chivalry musical on youtube? near the end of the show, jimmy and Ah Sa sang 'I don't know how to love you' then they embraced. the audience cheered and this girl yelled 'Ah Sa, you are so lucky'. everyone laughed. wonder if jimmy or ah sa heard it. they didn't break out laughing. they r very professional. it's an emotional scene. Jon and Rose reunited after 2 yrs and professed their love for each other then they sang.

I think Jimmy himself never bother about his height at all. Hardly see him in heels. I don't agree with recent news about him wearing heels during Shaolin2 press conf. Come on...that shoes are common shoes for man nowadays. Medias..always like to exaggerate things..

I think Jimmy looked tall in his 17s because there wasn't any other tall idols at that time, well, Takeshi is tall, but he wasn't as hot as now .

He was wearing weird shoe in MLS as older Vernon. Even he looked taller with that shoe, but I don't like it. They should choose a better shoe for him, or don't shoot on his shoe. They never think of this minor mistake

This is the story:
Jon is a poor talented musician. Rose is his young talented singer gf. Jon wanted to help Rose launch her singing career so he introduced her to his best friend Gordon. Gordon owned a music theatre. Ruby is his girlfriend and the star of the theatre. Gordon liked Rose and immediately signed her on to his show. Rose soon replaced Ruby as the star and Ruby was jealous. She seduced Jon while he's playing the piano. Rose and Gordon walked in. Rose was furious and broke up with Jon. Jon was devastated. Gordon kicked Jon out and ended their friendship.

2 yrs later. Rose became a big star. Jon became a wealthy businessman running night clubs and made a lot of money. But he's very lonely and he missed his true calling which is music. (doesn't this sound like Tian Qi in MLS.)

One day Rose came to see Jon. They missed each other and reconciled their love. That's when they sing 'I don't know how to love you'. Rose brought Jon to see Gordon. Gordon's theatre had fallen on hard times. The 2 friends reconciled. Jon promised to invest in Gordon's theatre and together they'd achieve their dream in music.

this musical is his latest showbiz project, from 11/08 to 01/09 after his concert in shanghai in 08. it came as a surprise. u know how low-key jimmy is. this musical came out of nowhere. i remember it's said in the news that because it's a hugh success Dick Lee wanted to write more music for it and made it a full-length musical. he wanted to invite the same cast to be in the new musical. no news on this yet. hope he can get everyone together.

But I don't think he's scare of losing fans, coz I think he no longer see himself as an idol in showbiz. Admire him a lot.. he can come & go whenever he wants, just like little whirlwind...And now, he only do things that he likes, please respect his privacy. When did he find time to do that. he's been car racing this yr. i thought he's new to powerboat racing. he only has a boating license. he's supposed to go into powerboat racing training camp then pass an exam to get his F1 license. When did that happen? Never read it in the news. Is this for real? did this guy get the facts right. is Jimmy really one of the 42 licensed F1 powerboat racers in the world. BTW, powerboat racing is even faster than F1 car racing. sounds dangerous.

Jimmy is not my first idol , I'm not into idol kind of stuff. I admire Tony Leung more than Jimmy. Tony is my first idol & forever. He's very very low-key person as well, but he never lie to public. He admit all his girlfriends, and even his marriage. I don't have to search news about him, coz he's very popular in Singapore, same as Andy Lau. His news is always the first headline here.

I hope this news is true too. But I never believe news from china, unless there's supporting photos/videos. I guess this will be his 2010 project. He's not the main racer for F1 powerboat racing, but he's the first chinese racer (so proud of him ). I think they not only hire him as a racer, they need him to promote/create awareness of F1 powerboat racing for young people, to get more chinese racers for the team. (I got a feeling there's business deal behind all this, I mean between Jimmy & F1 powerboat racing , can you girls imagine logo of his trademark cartoon face on F1 powerboat?)
