he does look like he was giving a speech, esp when he held his hands up announcing to the world that he's a dad. he's so proud when he said "this is my pride" and showed off xiao xiao zhi's pic. according to proud dad xiao xiao zhi loves to smile and he has attractive eyes.

most msg left on various sites are favorable. a lot of ppl support him. he does look more mature today, like he has finally grown up, no longer that 17 yr old kid. he looks like the 5 yr later zhong tian qi.

Waaaahhh!!! He really is a father now!!! His baby is so adorable, no wonder he is so protective of him and his little family . I'm happy but it just breaks my heart to see him a full grown man now complete with his family. He really lived up to his promise that he'll have a family when he turns 35. Many fans hearts were crushed by this news, well anyways..we should be happy for him he very well deserve a good life, he had his fair share of almost everything. Im happy for him!!! :-(

Though one more thing, he looked his age now, wonder why..hmmm, he's not the baby faced jimmy that he used to be... He looks different...

Well, I don't like being lied to. However, I understand and accept Jimmy and Lin BaBa's reasons for lying, even though I don't think lying or hiding is the best way to handle this issue. But then, everybody is different and do handle things differently!

"I didn’t want to make an announcement earlier because I just came back a few days ago. I didn’t want to say it in only a few words. I want to make the announcement myself. I am very lucky to have a very supportive family. Everyone thought that I grew up in a happy and comfortable home. No, it’s not true. I grew up in a single-parent home. My parents divorced when I was a kid. My father took care of the 3 of us while he was working to make money. Sometimes breakfast was only a cup of milk and a piece of bread but I didn’t complain. I always wanted a happy family of my own especially after my older brother had a daughter last year. My friends and fans all got married and had kids. Where is my wish?

I dated Kelly for 5 yrs. She is kind, innocent, and understanding. Her good personality deeply touch me. We got engaged last year.

I will hold a concert tour in Nov in Shanghai. I planned to announce the birth then but didn’t expect it to be exposed so soon. Plans could never catch up with changes. So I decided to announce the good news today.

Xiao Xiao Zhi arrival makes me very proud so I decided to come forward. I do not want him to have to hide because his father is Lin Zhi Yin. I hope that he’ll grow up blessed and loved like me. Today is my birthday and also Xiao Xiao Zhi’s first month. He is very healthy and active. He loves to smile, weighing 3095 grams and has a pair of attractive eyes and a small dimple. His birth is my pride. I loudly pronounce ‘I am a dad’. I want to say that I am still the same sunny and dream-chasing Lin Zhi Yin. I’ll never change. Now I want to share with you my pride. (He ripped the paper off the wall revealing Xiao Xiao Zhi.)"

I dont think we can talk to him. Maybe some of his loyal fans (those who always came to his b'day or TV shows) able talk to him, coz they always has annual gathering with Jimmy.

Thanks for the news Ladycoco! I had a VERY good feeling that it was all true and not just rumours but they all just wanted to lie about it.... Now, do you all see that these soul called "rumours" all turn out to be true afterall?? THis is another good example. THat one guy on the blog was right!!I actually was sort of disappointed that both he and his dad lied because what is the purpose of that since people are going to find out sooner or later?? But I am GLAD that he finally finally came out of the closet to admit it. His silence was a good clue that it was true because if not, I am sure he would have went straight out to clarify the news since he has done that before with other "rumours". Anyways, I am so happy that he finally admitted everything so that everyone can share in his happiness. Congrats to Jimmy on becoming a father and happy birthday to him!!!! I actually don't feel bad for Jimmy at all in terms of him being tense and tired because I think he got VERY lucky compared to Andy and any other artists that announced their marriage or having kids. He gets support from friends and fans and no one seemed to ridicule his father or him for lying while Andy got the title "the king of lying". Being a fan of many stars for many many years, I am just too familiar with all of this stuff and the outcomes. Therefore, I am not shocked at all that it was all true. Also, I think he wanted Kelly to give birth in the US because he wants him to have american citizenship. I am guessing maybe he wants his children to live in the US in the future. He may even live in the US later on as well. I remember him mentioning this years and years ago.... I must say that I don't think it is fair for people who are not american citizens to just give birth to their children in the US and just get citizenship because they are born here. What about other people who have to work hard to get it???

when Jimmy's debut in early 90s, he is the only one from taiwan that can compete with the popularity of HK 4 heavenly kings. Even Andy went to see his concert, he was so curious why this young man can be so popula and compete with them.
Now, it happened again... Most media reported he is smarter than Andy, he proudly announce about his personal life. Indirectly, they wanna say, Jimmy is a better person than Andy. As for Andy, he has been hiding desperately for years...now, Aaron has face the same problem.. he still choose to follow Andy's path. After 17 years, little whirlwind compete with HK 4 heavenly kings again, this time is not about fame/popuarity, but about how to be a role model as legendary heavenly king.

Well, I can't say that Jimmy handled things better than Andy because Jimmy has been hiding his relationship with Kelly for years too. He even openly denied it when he was caught. Andy was NOT caught in public with Carol until recently so he finally admitted it.His dad even lied for him and that did not occur with Andy at all. Andy did try to reveal his relationship years ago but it was not well received so he chose to hid it until now. Andy came out and admitted it eventually too so now Jimmy is doing the same thing. Therefore,I really don't get why Jimmy gets so much credit and praise while Andy gets heavily ridiculed??? That does not make sense to me. I am big fan of both of them and feel bad that they are attacking Andy so heavily and praising Jimmy?? That is just not fair at all.

Keroro, We both really seem to think alike. Where are you from? I know that a lot of people from Asia send their kids here for education. I know that a lot people think that giving birth in the US will give them American citizenship. I myself was born and raised in the US, but I live here as well and my parents are citizens too.It's not like I just came here to come out and that was it. I know that having a degree overseas will make you a stronger candidate for a lot of jobs when you come back to Asia. But I still do not think it is fair that a couple whom are not US citizens just come to the US to give birth and their baby gets granted American citizenship just because the baby was born here. That is just not fair.

Yea, but I am not proud of him at all because what is the big deal? Andy admitted his marriage and no one was proud of him at all. They even criticized him for lying and all. Even if Jimmy did not admit it, people will find out sooner or later anyways so what is the point?? But Jimmy did go silent for awhile which I don't think was the best way to do it... I know that silence all too well since I have seen it occur before. That usually means that everything is true but he just did not want to admit it yet...

I think Jimmy just got lucky compared to Andy and he had Andy's case as a good example to follow. You mean Aaron Kwok? Is he going through the same thing too?? I feel bad for him then and hope that he gets lucky like Jimmy did. I am not a big fan of his either but am proud of him for his talent and hard work.

I heard and have seen one of his concerts in HK. He had 3 or 4 good bye concerts before he left for the army too. I think that was his most special one ever. Honestly, I am not sure that Jimmy is even popular enough to have concert in HK anymore. Therefore, I doubt that he will ever have one there again but who knows.. Anything can happen...Like you have said.. It is all destiny...
