After 6 years, Jimmy decided to return to the song industry. He will release his album in March. His album has to do with cars, and he performed his racing skills in the MV. Jimmy said some of the featured cars are his, the better cars were borrowed from friends, and those cars are the only one of their type found in Taiwan. Thus they are very precious to their owners. The cars were shipped to the location of filming, and usually they are not driven on public roads. If the cars get damaged, Jimmy said he would be in big trouble! The director for the MV designed a special scene for the MV so that it will be more outstanding. That is, Jimmy would dance on the roof of a Rolls Royce. Jimmy was afraid it would damage the car, but after knocking on the roof, it seemed rather solid, so there should not be any problems. He also discussed this with the owner of the car. The owner said that for the sake of his MV, he is willing to sacrifice the car, and said Jimmy can even blow up the car if he wanted. Jimmy will also be "drifting" on the MV, as well as doing hip-hop dances. He said what he would be doing in the MV is nothing compared to what he did in races; in a rally race, he would be "drifing" from day to night. After the race, whenever he sat down to eat, he would still feel "drifty"! Thus he felt what he did in the MV was relatively simple.

Almost same as above. He mentioned the fear of scratching the cars as he "drifted" in them. He also said if it rains, the road would be more slippery, and thus the effects of drifting can be more easily executed. If the cars got damaged, Jimmy joked he would have to save up to buy them.

It was found that the total amount of his 10 investment ventures add up to over a hundred million. Internet is profitable: raking in a few millions

14 Anniversary in show biz

The press conference was arranged in a simple way.

Jimmy has shown some part of his R&B MV. Every MV included cars.

There were a few Thai fans presented yesterday, many fans could not make it, because of work and study.

6 years of waiting, the dream came true, fans saw his MVs. Jimmy was gorgeous with beautiful smiles as ever. But, some fans said they counted more wrinkles around his eyes [Haha] Jimmy greeted Thai fans.

Lin papa was so cute, he offered warm welcome since he learned that they were from Thailand. Thai fans were so touched.

His album will be released in late March.

On 1st of March, Jimmy celebrated the 14th anniversary of his showbiz debut. Jimmy had declined the offers of 10 movies/films for the sake of his new album, breaking the heart of Xia Yu Shun.
　　
Lin Papa hopes that Jimmy can start a family soon, and give him a grandson, since he is already 31. But Jimmy is too good at keeping secrets, not only is it hard for the paparazzi to take photos of his girlfriend, he also has not brought any girls home for Lin Papa to see. Lin Papa said, “I have only seen him brought Ruby Lin home.” When the media asked Jimmy if he considered asking Stanley Tong to direct his new song’s MV, Jimmy immediately got up and went off.

Expanding his car-related career: Playing and growing wealthy

In 2005, Jimmy signed on with Hong He racing team with a 7-figure sum, became one of the 10 salaried racers of the team. He had to take part in rally racing, single-seater racing, sports car racing, and he is the highest salaried racer in Taiwan, with an annual income of hundreds of millions in Taiwanese dollars. Jimmy admits, he used to only restrict his racing to single-seater racing, but from now on he is truly beginning his career as a professional racer.


Last year, Jimmy had a sudden idea, and set up a racing consultation company in Zhu Hai. Insiders from the company commented that this venture had market value, and roughly estimated that there is a return of 8 million Ren Min Bi annually. Last year this company also sponsored Lu Yi and Zhao Wei’s series “Ce Shen”, this year there is also a plan to invest in the filming of a series starring Jackie Chan, which would be his return to series acting after many years.

Different types of working studios: Monthly Revenues shocking

Jimmy’s Jimmy Studio and the Jimmy Fan Club Official Website are business areas related to his fans. He earns money by meeting the demands of his fans, selling autographed photographs to furniture, as long there is something that can be obtained, there will be a transaction.

Even the temporary places he stayed in for filming, are decorated in interesting ways.” Famous director Chu Yen Ping told the reporter, that Jimmy loves mock jungle warfare, and has decorated one of his houses to look like a jungle-training camp. “I borrowed props from his house for a few works I did. I think following Jimmy can make one rich, whenever the filming industry is at its lowest, I follow him.”
