Wow thank coco for the vids. I've never seen them b/4. There're a lot of things I didn't know about Jimmy, but I'm so confused. Who are all those people? Why did they know a lot info of Jimmy? Forgive me but I've just heard of Jackie Chan Cup but never heard of Jimmy Lin Cup. Do you have any vids of that event?
It's understandable that they didn't invite him to talk about his life cuz he's so low-key. Not sure if he could give all the answers for their questions.
I agree with Vivi that they forgot interviewing an inportant person. That's our Ladycoco. I really admire you, Coco. How can you know everything about him?

i think these ppl r taiwan tv hosts. the guy in pink appears to be JL's friend. he appeared in several shows talking about JL. he speaks highly of jimmy.
i just followed the links and found these vids. many fans ul'ed his vids to youtube recently.

The opening of Ping Tzuo Racing Advisory Consulting company on 7/30/2005 at the Zhuhai International Circuit. He talked about the Jimmy Lin Cup that will be held later that yr. He invited his friends to participate. he wanted to race himself but his friends wouldn't let him coz it's not fair.

I have some pics of the event. i'll ul them tomorrow. it's getting late. have to climb in bed. work tomorrow. i remember there's a vid of the race itself. have to go dig it out. i learned everything about jimmy from Kose/Relive. Then i read every article about his life. his life is quite amazing. even taiwan business magazines wrote about how he made his fortune in 2007. There are translated articles on Kose's fansite.

He founded the Ping Tzuo racing team, but I hardly see him racing for the team. Is the team working now? I heard that he'll get back to the track in Zhuhai this year. Hope it's true. I really miss him in the race. He looks so cool when he races.

Hey, where's everyone? Hope you're all fine. It seems that we have nothing to talk about Jimmy when he's always disappears after a big show.

I recorded 2 vids in which I played keyboard and sang 2 songs of Jimmy: 心云 (cloudy heart) and 我不后悔 (I don't regret). I recorded them several months ago, but I didn't have enough courage to post them here, so hope u guys like it, and plz don't laugh if my pronuciation is not good. (Plz don't get me wrong. ok. u found the Jimmy Lin Cup race vid. As far as i know that's the only JL Cup. The last time JL raced for Ping Tzuo was in 5/2007 when he took a break from the filming of MLS to race in the China Formula Open Renault Formula in Zhuhai. he must be out of shape after filming day and night and got 15th place. he also raced in the Tian Si Lightweight Sportscar Challenge Series in 2008 as an individual racer but not for Ping Tzuo. He got 3 1st and 1 2nd place.

seriously he's too old for formula racing. most formula racers r in their early 20s or late teens. Lewis Hamilton won his first F1 championship in 2008 at the age of 23. Rally racers r much older so i guess Jimmy will stick with rally racing now. i hope what u said about him returning to Zhuhai this yr is true. i want to see him race too.

BTW, Schumacher is coming out of retirement and returning to F1 this yr at the age of 41. we'll how it goes.

Ping Tzuo Racing Team is still very active. I didn't pay much attention to it last yr. It has 2 major racers 张善祺 and 黎志聪. Both of them are very young. If you go to baidu news and search for 平坐赛车队 there r lots of news about the team. I remember Jimmy made an appearance as the team advisor/owner on 8/23/2009 at the AFR race in shanghai. Aaron Kwok also raced on that day.

i just found out that Ping Tzuo won 1st place team overall in the Asia AFR Formula Race Asian Division in 11/2009. 黎志聪 was 2nd place overall racer. Jimmy is so low-key. he didn't even share this good news with his fans. he didn't say a word about this in interviews. he must be still wrapped up in the baby scandal then.

i was just like u. i read about him and Wow, who's this guy. how come he can do so much. i knew that he's an international outstanding youth. it's in his baidu bio but i couldn't find any info on it. glad that they finally officially say it in public. so it must be true. he got the award when he was 29. must be for his charity works.

I agree with u that Jimmy may stick with Rally Racing, but we can't foretell anything. We all know that he's really into racing, so no-one or nothing can stop him get back to the track (including XXZ). who knows, perhaps one day he'll return to formular racing and surprise everyone. Yep Micheal Schumacher is an example. He returned to F1 after 3 years of retirement (it's a pity that he won't race for Ferrari team, but the Mercedes team is not bad ). So never too late to fulfil a dream.

Thank you for your compliment! I didn't use the microphone, just recorded it with my camera, so the quality wasn't really good. And what do you mean "next song"? It's a joke, isn't it? Don't know if there'll be any "next songs", but I'll try when I can learn how to play keyboard other songs.

i remember i read that ping tzuo has 3 owners: jimmy, 陈维良, and one other guy. dont know if it's still true.

The Ping Tzuo team in shanghai on 2009-08-23. the tall guy on jimmy's left is 张善祺. The little guy on his right is 黎志聪. 陈维良 sat on the race car on the left. he was a famous racer in taiwan in his prime. he has retired and runs ping tzuo now. he's older than jimmy. 黎志聪 has improved so much in 2009. he lost to jimmy 3 times in 2008 at the Frestech Pan Delta races. i remember he had car trouble in one of the races. he was 14 then, 16 now.

jimmy must love red. the ping tzuo uniform is red. the Speedone uniform is also red. and if Lin baba couldn't stop his son from racing how could he stop his grandson. i doube kelly will be able to stop jimmy from training xxz to become a racer. so it all depends on xxz now if he'll follow his dad's footsteps.
