It actually didn't take me as long as I thought. When I first started I felt like I didn't know how to translate it, but I think it was b/c I haven't done one for a few mos, so got pretty rusty at it.

From reading the article it seems as if Jimmy had a choice he would have choosen to enter into the entertainment industry at a later age or would have not entered into the industry at all for that matter. It could be that he wants a low profile lifestyle where he can walk on the streets and people wouldn't be pointing and saying isn't that so and so. But at the same time if he wasn't a celebrity, I don't think he would have gotten as much media coverage and endorsements as a race car driver. It helps when you already have a name for yourself prior to joining another line of work.

I could be wrong, but that's my take on it.

viv, I didn't even notice you had made a posting to me. I've been caught up with some family stuff lately that I haven't been as on top with the forum, but I'm catching up as you can probably tell.

The interior renovations are complete for me, so we've moved in for about 2 mos now, but now we are doing the exterior and also have the basement to do afterwards. Still gots months of work ahead of us. Seems to be never ending. Also it appears you will be traveling overseas again. How exciting!!! When are you going?

Since it has been reported that the Little Tigers will not be having a concert tour, there has been rumors that Nicky Wu (a member of the original Little Tigers) has intentions to join with Jimmy Lin & Wallace Chung to form a new group. Jimmy's manager, Grace, mentioned there was some discussion about this idea and will not be completely ruled out, but there aren't any immediate plans set in stone.

Because the Little Tigers came together to perform for several of this year's Lunar New programs, many thought they would reunite, but b/c Alec Su has indicated there isn't a possibility a Little Tiger concert, many fans were disappointed. Nicky Wu and Jimmy had already worked together this year b/c both performed at Taiwan's Super S program. At the backstage Nicky Wu had congratulated Jimmy for being a never aging dad. Renovations are exciting and yet very tiring at the same time. Congratulations for having the interior part done. Ga you (+oil) on the exterior part! I though the same thing too. Who are the HK "Big Four"? Are you talking about the 4 Heavenly Kings? Aaron Kwok, Leon Lie, Andy Lau, and Jackie Chang? I really don't pay attention to any Asian entertainment news at all. If they are doing a world tour, they might visit SF. I am sure Seattle will never be on anyone's tour list.

The article didn't say anything about forming the new "Little Tiger". It's only jimmy joking around. i think it's more likely to see nicky or wallace at jimmy's next concert as a guest.

Tam said on the Speedone news site that the team has not signed on another racer. He is it. so they decided not to race at the 1st stop of the CRC and instead will use the money in a WRC race in Japan.

Speedone had a foreign racer last yr after jimmy quit. The guy crashed his car in the 1st race. apparently he's not back this yr. dont know if jimmy will race for speedone again this yr. no announcement yet.

nothing about powerboat racing either. i love to see him in a powerboat race.
